Now I've gone through and read quite a few messages about toys, but not a lot about these little beauties.

Does anyone use them? What is the longest you've had them in? What is your best experience using them?

Thanks for your replies as I've been thinking about purchasing some and inserting them before I go to work. I'm just worried that it'll dry up and cause irritation before my shift is over.

Did a quick search for ya on some of the past posts that included discussions about anal beads:

~whew~

Those postings aside, there are a lot of different toys that you could use for the purpose of keeping inside all day, and some may be better suited than others for long-term use. This is hypothetically speaking as I have not gone to work for the day with beads in, however I do have a generous knowledge of sex toys and I'm willing to offer my :2cents: *giggle*

In this instance, specifically avoiding the silicone-based toys means that you can use a silicone-based lube, which wont dry out over the course of the day. You cannot use silicone lube and silicone toys together as they will deteriorate each other upon contact, but if they are going to be strictly your beads only, then the jelly-style is perfectly acceptable and likely most comfortable for this purpose. Just dont forget to take a ziploc to work just in case you need to remove the toy before the end of the day.

Here's a few examples of what I would think would be good choices - if you click the links, pictures of the toys will pop-up for you.

My First Pick: Graduated continuous beads (http://www.lovedreamer.com/main/popup.cgi?i=5800-10-2_2008_l.jpg) with a end loop. This allows for easy removal, whether it be at the end of the day or if for some reason you need to get them out before then. Grab the ring, bear down and voila.

Graduated jelly beads (http://www.lovedreamer.com/main/popup.cgi?i=807848925.jpg) without a loop. If you are used to having intercourse or want to pleasure yourself all day long, an extra-long strand of larger beads may be in order, but they usually dont come with a loop. Be sure to leave at least one of the larger beads out for easy removal, (this toy is also very pleasurable for home use).

Rear Enders (http://www.lovedreamer.com/main/popup.cgi?i=416628590.jpg) brand toys made of firm rubber are not for the faint of heart - they are very firm but because of the toy's shape, I could see the smaller version of the two being well-suited for longer use.

Spectragels (http://www.lovedreamer.com/main/popup.cgi?i=117609780.jpg) Anal toys are larger than beads but some of their items taper off near the base so that evn a biger toy could stay in and tickel yur fancy all day.

Vivid's Double Bubble Vibrating Balls (http://www.lovedreamer.com/main/popup.cgi?i=5577_02_l.jpg) are a pair of multi-speed benwa balls that can be used anally. The nice part about these is that you can buy other eggs or bullets to plug into the same controller. If you do choose a small corded vibe like an egg or a bullet, toss it into a condom so that you can pull it out easily without yanking on the cord, as the vibe wires could disconnect or the cord could come loose.

Here are the No-Nos as far as satisfying anal toys (IMHO):

Never cheap out and buy the Beads on a String (http://www.lovedreamer.com/main/popup.cgi?i=549867365.jpg), as they break and/or come apart easily, and you can never properly clean them and bacteria can lurk on the fabric (eeeeeew - nuff said).

Dont get a slim or tapered plug (http://www.lovedreamer.com/main/popup.cgi?i=526442321.jpg) that does not have a thinner section before the base: these are fun during bedroom play but impossible to keep in for any length of time as there isnt anything for the muscles to hang onto. If you can take finger you're better to get the next size up and relax your way past the thickest point so it stays in.

Well here's wishing you lots of luck and of course, a good day at work!!

Thanks Sapphrodite, that was very informative. I had found some of the links you listed, but not all. Thanks again.

Has anyone tried a toy for about 8 hrs consistently?

I had some beads in for 4 about 4 hours. That 4 hours included a 1/2 drive in the car also.

Or you could just get those toys and use condoms on them (especially if you're going to share them).

Also, DO NOT use things that aren't designed for anal sex that you can find lying around the house like fruits/vegetables/bottles/etc. or try to make your own toys.

Just buy your own toys which are designed for anal sex and won't get stuck, you won't have to go to the ER all embarassed since something's stuck or you're bleeding profusely, and sex toys designed for anal sex don't have rough/sharp edges that will cut your anal lining.

If you're too embarassed to buy toys and lube at an adult bookstore (don't be embarassed, the clerks there want you to buy toys/lubes there and are knowledgable about them), order them online.
