Its up to the person themselfs whenever they want to post pics with their kids or not... as long as its not child-porn.

I personally think its a bad idea cause you SHOULDN'T post pics of kids on these kind of sites... there ARE people who think this site is all about cyber and sex. and not to mention, you don't know if theres a child rapist on the site or not.... suppose the person lives in your area, now your asking for trouble.
Our pics can also easily be saved as an image on someones computer too.
Do you really want people like that looking at pics of your kids?? I don't. (I don't have kids but even if I did, I wouldn't post their pic on sites like this)

I think its too risky and dangerous but hey, if someone wants to post a pic of their kids, thats their choice really.

I wouldn't post pictures on this site but as I get to know someone, I do give them my myspace address and there are pictures on there of my family. I maintain a website for a church and our policy is no pictures of kids on their site period. So, it's not a slam on this site at all, in fact, the folks I've met here have been nothing short of wonderful. Well, ok, the ones I bother to respond to that is.

Post your picture, your animal’s picture, and your car’s picture if you like posting pictures.
But, I do not believe it is ethical to post pictures of anyone without their permission and children are too young too give permission.

Your pet or your car is one thing, but your kids? Not everyone on the site is on the up-and-up. . .let's be honest. . .I don't have kids, but I have a neice and a nephew... I'd try my best to avoid any pictures with them for posting here.

I don't have kids either but if I did, I certainly wouldn't put pics of them on an adult sex/hook up site like this one with personal ads.

Great question Hydro. I see one pop up from time to time but it seems rare. A mother holding an infant I could almost excuse to some extent.....I have four daughters and a son (all over 18 now) but as a father, I would find it highly irresponsible and inappropiate.

This is an Adult site with Adult-oriented subject matter. It would be best if any pics of anyone's kids were kept off of it for many of the previously mentioned reasons.

I have kids. I also have a MySpace and a Facebook account. My kids are only visible by those who know me and not the general population on THOSE sites because I'm worried about the hopefully small percentage of the population who are sick sick sick. I would NEVER post pics of my kids on an adult oriented site. To me, you are just asking for trouble. Get to know someone first, as I have done, and then, only then, is it okay to introduce your children.

What about those checks were you can customize with any pic you want? Oh yeah, let's put the kids on it honey! How fun would it be to have some stranger from somewhere across the country show up at my house or call because they now have my address and phone number and know exactly what the kids look like! Fun times ensue!!!

Of course this is just my :2cents:. I guess I'm a mom and very protective of my boys and would never do anything to even remotely put them in harms way.

luv and kisses,

personally, this is an adult site and until the person is of age to consent to "participate" I think it is most appropriate to keep kids out of it...

Just my :2cents:

Ya, I totally understand why a parent may want to post their kids pic.. they are so happy and babies are the cutest things so you tend NOT to think about the dangerous other than "LOOK AT MY CUTIE!!" :)

But ya, it is dangerous... while this site may be for our friendly chatter and advice and all that, its still an adult site, you never know who's on the other end of the computer.

Thanks to everyone one who replyied, I only posted this question because I have seen people put up pictures of their kids. Although im sure they didnt mean any harm by posting the pics, but I do question the decision. I have kids and would never post their pictures, because we know what kind of world we live in. We also know that is is an adult site. ........ :2cents:

I believe you'd find it to be quite illegal to have a child's pic on any "adult content" site for any reason.

I would advise against anyone posting photos of children on here--for two main reasons.

First---this is an adult site and to far too many folks---this site is "perverted" for that fact alone irrespective of its content--which is of course--very perverted--I mean--My God--it's about homosexuality!!! Such folks can include those organizations that "protect family values" and overzealous prosecutors of like mind.

Second---and this is one to really think about---the mere act of posting of kid photos, no matter how otherwise innocent their content, on a site like this by one person could come back to haunt them---say your spouse becomes a "born again" and suddenly all of your sinful ways become fodder for divorce and child custody legal proceedings.

The attorney of your spouse shows in court that you had photos of your kids posted on this "perverted, adult oriented site" and the game is up--at best--the court may order that you can only see your kids with a court appointed guardian ad litem present for a few minutes at a time since you are a pervert and you may have or might sexually assault them. You may not even get to see them at all--you sex offender/pervert you!!

As Bush 41 would say (in the way Dana Carvey would portray the elder Bush): "I wouldna do it---not prudent!"

Things like this happen everyday.
