It takes a bit of time to set up each scene, so I have decided to post each story segment as they are completed.

Today's story starts out on a beautiful sunny day. Dick Justice, his love interest Boobette and his fun loving ward, Nutsy are enjoying a day at the beach.

Sensing that Dick and Boobette might like to be alone, Nutsy takes to the water on his surfboard.

Meanwhile, on a more secluded area of the beach, Dick and Boobette take a little time to be alone...together and with their thoughts. Will Dick score??? Is Dick Justice the same Dick as DickMan??? Will Boobette ever take off her glasses??? Tune in tomorrow!!!

Things were beginning to heat up for Dick and Boobette...Dick was just about to make his move when Boobette spies Nutsy. She's devastated...Nutsy had promised to stay out of trouble and give them some time alone.

It appears that young Nutsy has discovered the opposite sex! Both Boobette and Dick are so irritated with him that they haven't even noticed who he is talking to! And poor Boobette...she felt in her heart that Dick was so close to noticing her as more than just another girl from the office...and all of that ruined by a silly teenaged boy and his hormones!

After a lengthy lecture about the dangers of talking to strangers, Nutsy was sent back to the house. As Dick approached the "strangers" to lecture them as well, he is suddenly struck by the amazing beauty of the three young ladies. It was if Boobette was not even there. Feeling rejected and alone, Boobette leaves Dick to his new friends and returns home. As she drives home, Boobette decides to make some changes in her life. She'll take that trip to Paris that she had always dreamed of...and she'd leave right away! Little did Boobette or Dick know...but the innocent flirtation that drove a wedge between them would have much deeper consequences than they'd ever imagine. And little did Boobette know that her resolve to become a new and more self confident woman would find her in harm's way!!!

After recently witnessing his dark side, Boobette has begun to wonder if she really knows Jacques at all. She feels more self confident...certainly more alluring...but all of that means nothing if she is trapped in a relationship that may be one-sided. To make matters worse, she has become totally dependent on Jacques financially, so even if she does want to leave him...will she be able to??

Nutsy...dear sweet, stupid Nutsy!! He couldn't let nature takes it's course...couldn't accept the advice of his guardian, Dick Justice...and couldn't see that he is far too young to move so fast. He has been blinded by the beauty and allure of the mysterious Princess Nipps, totally unaware that she is evil to the core and is merely using him as part of a scheme hatched by her nefarious boss, Jock, the cock, Justice...estranged brother of Dick.

And what about Dick?? Dick Justice, aka DickMan, finds himself all alone. He has lost his Boobette due to his lack of attention to her. He has been so wrapped up in his quest to bring happiness to the bedrooms of others that he has been oblivious to bringing happiness to his very own bedroom. And now he's lost Nutsy as well. He couldn't see that Nutsy needed him and needed his attention. His behavior was a cry for guidance and all Dick could manage to do was alienate him with his speeches about doing good for others. He has his hands full by having to perform his DickMan duties without his trusty sidekick BallBoy...so much so that he is getting sloppy in his performance and will soon find that his lack of attention to the fine details of being a Super Hero will find him in the clutches of yet another evil character involved with Jock's plot...the beautiful and intoxicating Lickety Split, Countess of Cuntgetenough.

Will Boobette manage to muster the strength and find the resources to escape the clutches of the evil Jock?? Will Nutsy ever get his hormones balanced enough to come up for air and see that Princess Nipps is using him to get to his guardian, Dick Justice??? And what about Dick??? Will Dick ever realize that you can't be a Super Hero to others if you don't perform heroic feats for the ones that love you as well??? Or will he succumb to the wiles of Countess Lickety Split...falling for the attention that he craves...the attention he could have had from Boobette had he not been so blind???

The press has been having a field day with his recent problems and he finds himself the laughing stock of not only his community, but the Super Hero Community as well!!

Being trapped into servitude by Jock is humiliating enough..but the daily taunts by the cunning Countess Lickity Split are almost more than she can take! And despite strict warnings from Jock to keep Boobette in the dark about his plan, the evil Countess just can't help but dangle Dick in front of her just to make her pain more intense!!! We join the two women in the kitchen as the Countess flaunts her new position in Jock's household...a position that Boobette filled only days ago.

Dick was determined to salvage what was left of his Super Hero career! He didn't need Nutsy, aka BallBoy..he could read a map as well as the next guy!! He doesn't need to ask for directions!!! He is DickMan!!! And although he is no longer a part of the Dynamic Duo, he is a solo act to be reckoned with!!! That is until that fateful day he hastily read a map...not realizing that it was upside down...an error that would lead to the final descent of DickMan!!

Desperate and alone, Dick has been drowning his sorrows with beer after beer as he agonizes over the recent headlines about his "incident" at the Ball Pit.

But what about The Countess??? The Dick she met in the bar was a sad and broken Dick...a Dick in need of love and compassion...a Dick that responded so eagerly to her attention ...but also a Dick that poured out his heart about having loved and lost his precious Boobette. No one had ever felt that deeply about her...not Jock...not anyone. She awakes the next morning resolved to ensuring that Boobette would NEVER get Dick again! She wanted Dick for herself, even if it meant that she would have to get rid of Boobette permanently!!

Little does Lickety Split know, her every move has been monitored by Jock from afar, and he is none to happy to see her become so enamoured by Dick. Angered at her sudden conversion, he decides to send in Princess Nipps, the one individual who will remind Lickety Split that Dick is but a passing fancy...

Meanwhile, across town in a hotel room, Nutsy awakes to find Princess Nipps gone and himself quite confused. He doesn't seem to be aware that it has been days since he left home and even though he is tired of his Super Hero duties, he is consumed by thoughts of Dick. He belongs with Dick...Dick gave him a home when no one else would...Dick was his friend when he had no one else. Without Dick, there would be no Nutsy! Guilt sets in, and all of a sudden, Nutsy feels compelled to return home to see if he can make things right with Dick once again.

Nutsy rushes home, willing to do whatever he has to do to get Dick to forgive him. He realizes that Dick is the most important thing in his life and he feels angry at himself for forgetting that! Unaware that he has left the house to get some food for himself and Lickety Split, Nutsy searches the house for Dick. His search leads him to the bedroom where the anger he felt for himself soon turns towards Dick, an anger so intense that the bond between Nutsy and Dick may be forever severed!

Devastated by the loss of his little pal, Nutsy, Dick flies into a rage when he sees Lickety Split and Princess Nipps together in his bed. He now understands what made Nutsy so upset and he feels used and betrayed by Lickety Split. Barely able to contain himself, Dick orders Lickety Split and Princess Nipps to leave. Jock's plan has been foiled in more ways than one and it may take the evil work of Jock himself to bring the downfall of Dick to completion!!

Dear Kate,

You know that when a blockbuster is going to hit the screens, they make documentary films like "How "The Phantom Menace" was made", "Behind the scenes of "The Lord Of The Rings""...

So I ask for a logical documentary film (or thread :tong: ) about how the Dickman and the other characters came to life, who's behind those bits with clothes, who are the ones giving the ideas, who are the ones making the script, who is the one putting everything together...

Of course, it cannot go without explaining all the tricks of the make of the comic strip, how do you find the scenarios, how do you find the clothes, how do you put everything in such a magnificent way, what programs you use, how you do the differents steps...

Hey, even you could make a "How to do your own Dickman comic strip step by step" own thread!!! (sort of a volume of "For Dummies Series" as we are not all that savvy literate with such programs).

Keep the good work, and I'm waiting for the next delivery... :)

Sometimes I have to make do...make lots of cuts and changes...and a lot of pasting over stuff. Thought I would share a few of the more interesting "scene" changes that I had to make.

One particular scene that comes to mind...the bed scene with Jacques, aka Jock, and Boobette. I thought it would be simple to find a bed...not so! Below I have posted the end result...then what it started as! The most daunting challenge came when I wanted a bar scene for when Lickety Split finds Dick Justice drowning his sorrows and I needed it to be useful for two scenes. I looked all through my clip art and only found one bar scene. Below I have posted the the two final results...and next to them...the bar scene that I had to use. Needless to say...many, many changes had to take place...my patience was stretched to the max...and I realized that sometimes you just have to make do!!

thank you for sharing, I know that many people think it's quite easy to make what it seems a straightforward scene, but they are quite wrong.

You usually spent a lot of time just to find the appropiate elements to display on the scene and the background, and then you take hours, days or even weeks to make what it appears to be a simple scene to a certain degree of acceptability, but that it has taken you many hours of sleep and stress. And usually you are never too happy with the final result!!! lol

I see the changes from the original material to the final stage of your production and they seem flawless... What program/programs and techniques do you use?

I use Microsoft Picture It! Publishing Platinum. It is rather easy to use...I have never read any instructions so I just plunder my way through...(I hate manuals!!) The technique used to re-do certain scenes is one of my own...it's called, cut it out...cover it up!! After removing certain items...I then trace a comparable area and patch it together as necessary..sometimes making it necessary to fudge a bit here and there. Like in the Cow Bar scene...I cut out some of the other bottles to cover up where the cow bartender's head was...lengthened the bar by cutting out a piece of the original bar and pasting it on...cut out parts of the table so that I could slide Dick in there...etc. All very crude and elementary..but it works for me. The characters are cut outs...so all I have to do is paste and position them in the scene. For example, the pic used for DickMan is merely a picture of a penis that I have cut out...yes...I have CUT OUT the penis...and it takes a very steady hand and several attempts to get it right!! LOL!! Was rather difficult when I had a bad cough...My hand slipped and I did do a little cosmetic work on poor Dick Justice..he is a bit slimmer up top than the original...LOL!! But that merely makes DickMan look more virile and Super Hero like LOL!

When we last saw Nutsy, he was devastated by what he thought was betrayal by his best friend. Feeling lost and rejected, Nutsy goes back to the park where he met Princess Nipps to decide what to do next. Still seething with anger over Dick, Nutsy plans to get revenge by telling Boobette about finding Dick in bed with those girls. Lucky for him, Boobette has just returned from Paris with Jock. Little does he know that revealing Dick's betrayal to her will set off a chain of events none of them would have ever expected!

Having arrived back home, Boobette is beside herself. She knows that Jock plans to destroy Dick and she can't figure out a way to warn him. Jock still has her under his control by telling her that Countess Lickety Split has orders to kill Dick if she disobeys him. He orders her around mercilessly and all he does is lay around drinking beer and watching television. This may pay off tonight because soon Boobette will be getting a visit from Nutsy and with any luck, Jock may pass out soon and she will have a chance to speak to him without Jock's knowledge.

Because of the holiday break, a brief synopsis of recent events:

Nutsy has decided that he needs to let Boobette know what has become of Dick...although Nutsy's motives may not be well intended, his informing Boobette will set off a chain of events that will impact them all!

Boobette is now back at home but she is still in the evil clutches of Jock, the Cock, Justice. She knows that Dick is in danger but feels helpless to help him. She knows that if she angers him, Jock will certainly hurt Dick.

Lickety Split is still carrying a torch for Dick, but her feelings of love have become obsessive and she is determined that she will have him...or no one will!

We join our story with Lickety Split and Princess Nipps discussing Jock's newest plan...

Meanwhile, back at Boobette's house, Jock has finally succumbed to a day full of beer drinking and has passed out. This is quite a lucky turn of events for Boobette, as she is about to receive a visitor, Nutsy, who plans to destroy Dick in Boobette's eye with his tales of a wayward Dick. Will Nutsy have a change of heart when he sees the distraught Boobette and hears of her peril and the impending doom planned for Dick? Will Boobette finally be able to escape from the clutches of the evil Jock in time to save her precious Dick?

Jock awakens from his drunken stupor to find Boobette missing. He rushes off to get help from Lickety and Nipps only to find Lickety missing as well. Jock isn't going to be too happy to hear that Lickety has planned to handle Dick on her own!!!

Unaware that his life is in danger, Dick has spent the last several days languishing alone in his bed! He is missing Boobette..but he is also feeling a great void in his life with the loss of his friend and sidekick, Nutsy. Little does Dick know that within minutes, his life will be forever changed! What lies ahead for our Super Cock? Will he ever help his fellow man again or will he become just another example of a Dick gone limp and lazy?

Boobette and Nutsy are greatly relieved to see that they have arrived at Dick's house first. Boobette is apprehensive about her return to Dick and like any lady would be, wants to look her best when she does get to hold her Dick again. As usual, Nutsy is impatient to see Dick and can't believe that he must wait for Boobette to change outfits. Both Nutsy and Boobette are unaware that Lickety has also arrived, as is using the back door to surprise Dick. Dick isn't going to be the only one surprised tonight. This evening will be full of surprises for all of our characters!!!

Dick was shocked to see Lickety enter his bedroom, but it didn't compare to the shock of seeing his Boobette again! Once the reality of her return sinks in, Dick turns angry and lashes out at her. Lickety uses this fit of anger to further antagonize Boobette...hoping to intimidate her enough to leave. What neither of them realizes is that Boobette is a new woman, a woman of strength and tenacity, and she WILL NOT back down. She will not allow her precious Dick to suffer in the hands of Lickety Split!! She is determined to do whatever is necessary to have Dick again!

Unaware of the confrontation going on in Dick's bedroom, Nutsy returns to Dick's living room only to find Princess Nipps and Jock Justice waiting there. And will Princess Nipps find a soft spot in her heart for the love struck Nutsy and help him save Dick... or will she remain true to her icy cold exterior and continue to be one of Jock's evil minions??

I realize that I left DickMan hanging, so to speak...and for that I apologize. Real life circumstances and pressing family matters arose and I guess I found it difficult to justify spending a lot of time dressing up penises and other body parts. LOL! I also wanted to do a good job on the finale and didn't want to rush things....so...in keeping with the vernacular of episodic television..consider the almost threesome a "cliffhanger" of sorts....and as soon as I get a chance...we'll see what becomes of Dick in Season Two of DickMan, Defender of the Downtrodden, the Limp and the Lazy!!!!

There was actually a John Holmes movie called "Dickman and Throbbin". In the film Holmes pretty obviously has advanced AIDS..sad, sick film, and an indication of how little Holmes cared for other people. He wasn't the sharpest pencil in the box, to be sure, but here he is with carposi's sarcoma banging away at women with no thought at all. The film made my skin crawl.
