I read on another site's forum a guy who said he wasn't bi he just had a cock fetish. He didn't fancy guys or their bodies just their cock and balls. So how do you (guys) know you are bisexual or could you have a cock fetish instead...

I love both cock and pussy so do I have a pussy fetish? Am I gay with a pussy fetish? Am I straight with a cock fetish? So you folks who want labels I say - I love both cock and pussy and whatever you think that makes me, you deal with it. :2cents:

It's just an excuse people say so they don't have to be associated with being bi/gay or a faggot.

Same with the "I only want sex with a man when another woman is there" excuse.

I agree that there are variations of it and what you wrote Francis; but I have met lots of bi men (even on this site and other sites) who actually do use what I wrote as excuses and they try to hold onto the idea of being heterosexual or "straight".

IMO, if you like having sexual contact with people of the opposite AND same sex (under ANY circumstances), then I'd classify you as "bisexual" (in the simplest and purest form of that word). whether one has a romantic interest in any particular group is another matter, if you ask me. Although its probably not to be ignored as part of the bigger picture.

Personally, I'm guilty of trying to avoid labels too. But for me, its ANY label, be it, hetero, homo, or bi. the only reason I identify as a bisexual is because thats the description which closest matches my reality atm, and I sometimes feel obliged to communicate that reality in a simple and concise way to others who want to know.

If he only had a cock fetish, he could purchase a dildo and be happy. But, I suspect he needs a cock attached to a male body. That makes him either bisexual or homosexual. However, if denial makes his life easier to live and does no harm to you or others, then, I do not believe it is ok to criticize him.

There are 100 different ways to say 'bi'.
I doubt there are two of us alike.
If you've resigned and are comfortable with gay forever, then you're pretty much gay.
If you've resigned and are comfortable with hetero forever, then you're pretty much hetero.
This does not exclude those who experimented otherwise.
If you're mostly hetero but still have this gut level desire either emotionally or sexually for same sex..
Likewise, if you're mostly gay but still have this gut level desire either emotionally or sexually for opposite sex..

That means you're one of us! My condolences for your loss of a comfortable non-challenging 2 dimensional world of penis or vagina. Welcome to a land of many dimensions. Where each dimension has infinite shades of gray and color! If you can understand the ambiguity of life itself you can understand the ambiguity in bisexuality... Where the only absolute is God (love - if you're an atheist). :)

I love the soft feel, smell and taste of a woman, but I do love the feel of a man. Well of course my focus is the guy's cock and balls, but I love the feel of a man. His hairy body, his nipples, the different way he kisses, sigh, it is all good. I just love both men and women, I think both sexes are wonderful and to be with a man and a woman simultaneously is the most erotic thing I have ever experienced. Cock fetish, nah, I love both men and women and if I'm not bi then perhaps I am on the wrong site lol.:):tong:

A cock cannot be a fetish by definition. A dildo can.

People are desperate to be "normal" and will rationalize all kinds of behavior and activities to be so.

There is a part of me that gets what he's saying, though, still. I mean, for me, anyway, I like the cock more than I like the guy attached. I mean, strictly sexually speaking.

Even then, I like shemales (aka "chicks with dicks") more than guys. If, for example, I go into a bisexual group and people are listing which same sex people they think are "hot", I'll be hard pressed to tell you which guys I think are "cute" because I'm not facially as attracted to guys and will be less likely to notice them walking down the street as I will an attractive woman. I do tend to notice one in a zillion guys I think stand out as "cute" or hot, but my passion for even them is much less than with women.

Once again, it's more about the cock (and muscles, sometimes), with guys, from a sexual standpoint, with me. Usually, a guy's more rugged facial features just do nothing for me. Guys just don't look "cute" to me that often.

I have absolutely no problem using the term "bisexual", but like I said, with some people it may feel kind of weird, if they are not facially attracted to men.

I can totally relate to much of what you just said, Ziggy. But it still doesn't change the fact that we are both classified as "bisexual", IMO.

I can totally relate to that guy from the other forum who has a cock-and-ball fetish. I feel the same way -- who knows, maybe it was me!

I am completely comfortable with my sexuality and have no problem with the bisexual label. But if you call yourself that other guys tend to mistake what it is you're looking for.

I agree with Ziggy. I am not attracted to men the same way I am to women. I don't find most of their physical features appealing the way a woman's are to me. The only part that does anything for me is the cock. And I'm really only interested in jacking off with a bud, maybe helping each other out, sharing out mutual interest in cocks and cumshots. When I talk to other guys about this I try to make that clear, but they often don't seem to get it and start talking about making out or oral or my ass or whatever and it's a real turn-off. I'm just not into that.

That is very common. Men who play with men for release only are all about the cock. A survey would, I'm sure, reveal that men of that type are almost universally "attached" and hiding in the closet.

They are the "straight" guys you see advertising all the time.

I can kind of see where someone could have a cock fetish. My "label" would be more in that direction. I am happily married and love sex...with either sex, but when it comes to guys there are certain things I'm not into like kissing. I would blow a guy no problem, but to sit there and hold hands just wouldn't interest me. I don't know why, maybe it's my own issues. I like to watch gay porn for the oral and anal. Seems wierd that I would rather rim a guy than kiss him on the mouth...

I know exactly what you mean.
Some years ago I used to belong to an MSN group called "The London Wank Buddies". It was a masturbation group for men of all types whatever they called themselves.
The focus was just on masturbation and playing with our cocks quite openly together in a large group. We watched str8 porn films, had a beer, made friends and chatted about what turned us on amongst other things.

Some guys would sit on their own and stare at all the wrists moving up and down whilst wanking themselves. Sometimes guys got into a little huddle of 3 or 4 and would wank and feel each others cocks until they all came. There were many straight guys there whose primary attraction was to women but they loved being in that atmosphere. This was something they did with their mates on the quiet. A kind of "behind the bike sheds" activity, "I'll show you mine if you show me yours", clandestine but exciting. There was no pressure for anyone to have full on sex, although some guys did want to try sucking occasionally to see what that was like.

I can really can believe that some men who like cocks can be uninterested physically in other men, but I also believe they are participants in what I call "Cock culture" along with bi and gay men. I think we have seen it literally explode with the internet. Its where guys like to :

display and swap pictures of their erections and balls (www.abadboy.com),

show video of themselves masturbating (Xtube.com, anywebcam.com)

masturbating together with other guys but with straight porn i.e. women in mind as a shared mental backdrop. A whole genre of modern porn exists now with this as its theme. (Defiant, Sneek Peek and Dirk Yates).

I think Cock Culture features like displaying, admiring, and exploring another guys dick acts as a kind of affirmation, in this case of masculinity. Looking at or feeling the other guys cock, as well as letting him see yours in that club was sharing excitement over that pussy up on the screen for instance. Its was seen as something that men did together as a form of bonding; masturbation as sport, being honest with each other but not desirous and so excluding others from taking part.
Erections here were just an expression of a shared value. Its just ironic that the direct communication of those feelings of comraderie happened though clearly homoerotic activity.

Exactly! I think your comments about Cock Culture are spot on. For a "straight" guy it is particularly liberating in that you can explore your masculine sexuality and obtain supportive feedback without the "relationship" implications of most male-female interaction.

You were lucky to have "The London Wank Buddies" to help you explore this aspect of yourself. I would love to find a group of like-minded guys here in Northern Virginia.

I do not agree with you first statement at all Diamond.I am very Bi and I do like cock. However I do not enjoy it unless a lady is there as well.Tried it did not like it. It is not a feeling of if I am with just a guy I am gay. It is the stimuli that turns me on.I have been BI for a very long time.Since my first Bi play I have never thought of myself as straight or gay. I am BI.

And finally, as far as Labels are concerned, my wife and I are both open to and in most cases Enjoy strictly sexual contact with same sex partners, but because Neither of us has any interest in being Romantic with them and are in fact Quite certain we could never BE romantic with a same sex partner, we much prefer the newer term of "hetro-flexible" to designate that though we are (For the Most part) Hetrosexual, we are Open to same sex SEXUAL play. Though honestly I am more bisexual that that as I do actually have a bit more of a "cock fetish" and do Enjoy SEX with a man, but I will NOT kiss another man, it's COCKS ONLY for oral or anal. And I beg to differ with some other commenters here who seem to think that a dildo is the same as a cock...WRONG!! Dildos do NOT have the same wamth or softness of skin as a real live cock. But then that's always been a quandary for me: Why do Lesbians refuse to have sex with men, but Most LOVE using strapons or hand held dildos on each other??? I have met a few lesbians who are a lot like me in that they won't be at all romantic with a man i.e. they refuse to kiss him, but they Will have sex with men?!?!?!?

I definitely agree with you on the Darkeyes thing, Her stuff is confusing to read.

As for dildos being warm. I heat mine up in a sink full of hot water before use, makes them nice and warm. But your right, most definitely not the same as the real thing.

Cock fetish? Damn right, had a fetish with mine all my life. Wish I could suck and swallow it. But alas, I cannot. So now and then I have to take this out on some other poor sap. Feel sorry for him! ;-)

Please have the courtesy not to shout at members (on the internet, use of caps constitutes shouting). It is especially silly to shout at members for what they posted 6 years ago, particularly those who haven't shown their face on the site in at least 4-5 years.

Your point/question about dildos answers itself. A dildo is not a cock. Lesbians do not seek a cock; they seek a way to enjoy penetrative sex with the people they love and are attracted to. They "refuse" to have sex with men, because they are not attracted to them, and don't love them...that's why they identify as lesbian. A dildo is not the same as a cock. But nor is a cock the same as a man. For some, if they could have the cock without having the man, they might be ok with it...a cock, after all, is as you say, warmer and softer than a dildo, so a superior tool to a dildo. But a dildo comes without a man attached to it, so is currently preferable for lesbians.
