I agree that there are variations of it and what you wrote Francis; but I have met lots of bi men (even on this site and other sites) who actually do use what I wrote as excuses and they try to hold onto the idea of being heterosexual or "straight".

IMO, if you like having sexual contact with people of the opposite AND same sex (under ANY circumstances), then I'd classify you as "bisexual" (in the simplest and purest form of that word). whether one has a romantic interest in any particular group is another matter, if you ask me.
