I am not entirely sure if this is an appropriate place for me to be, however it seems that the members of bisexual.com are open minded and willing to help someone understand. I want to know more. I am researching what it means to be bisexual. Within the literture of the gay/lesbian community it seems they view bisexuality as a phase just leading to straight or gay. They seem to think that bisexuality just doesn't exist. I'm not sure I agree, but have not had much experience within the bisexual community. If being bisexual isn't a phase, how does one decide with whom to settle down with? Are you always left wondering? I believe it exists I just want to know what it means to someone who is bisexual.
(Ultimately this information will be used to write a senior sociology paper on issues with bi-sexuality. However, I am also very interested in learning more for my own personal knowledge. If you would like to share your thoughts with me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you)
