I loved running with scissors and the sequel Dry.

I've read a few of Burroughs books and loved them, so on that strength I will have to check out the others you recommended. DD if you liked Dry, you should check out Magical Thinking. It's a little later in his life after he's been sober for a while. Makes for more pleasant reading and it's nice to see that this poor guy was able to find some happiness.
