Hey guys and gals! I have this question after hearing something today, and I was hoping the sexually experienced can tell the sexually unexperienced (me) about it. I'll get right to it, how long does the average guy last for? By that I mean to all the guys, how long is it before you ejaculate during sex? I'm not sure If I should concerned, or what the average standard is. Also, do males find a difference in how long they can last during sex, vs. just masturbating?

Actually I do offer insightful things in my posts, and I'm not as conceited and yeah I can be blunt but who cares? I'm not as mean or self centered as some of the other people I've seen post here.

Does any of this matter? No. Deal with it. Just remember I could be A LOT more blunt and biting like other posters here are and can be.

Anyway it's VERY easy to train yourself to last longer. But I'm not going to write about how to do that since you'll think that I'm flaming you or being mean.

Well, it does really depend on a lot of different factors. The first thing I did when I read the question was try to see how old you were, which of course I couldn't. Being inexperienced, I'm assuming you're also pretty young. Both of those things tend to make you a little quick. I think my first time I lasted all of about 5 seconds. As you get older and the novelty wears off, any premature ejaculation problems should take care of themselves. There are techniques to making yourself last longer, but I really wouldn't worry too much about it. Another advantage of youth is the multi-orgasmic ability. If you just don't stop after the first orgasm you can probably go 4 or 5 times before you have to rest.

Darkeyes is right in some ways. Certainly about younger men. Older more experienced men however are much more controlled and last the pace better. Not all because so many just want to experience their own orgasm and we are left worked up, wet and panting. My mother reckons its because its the more primeval instinct in men. Fuck and flop like every other male in every other species, but since women have the addition of the clitoris, sensitive nipples and other erogenous areas and are thinking beings, they require more than just a hump. hmm.... tough question. Don't think there is any one answer, so many factors that determine a guys "staying" power. Myself, anywhere from 15 min to a few hours, depending on the mood. :bigrin:

One other factor beyond experience that older guys tend to take longer to come is the aging process itself--things don't quite work as well as they once did---

When I was "young, dumb and full of cum!" I would ejaculate in like a minute once someone touched me---but then I could "shoot" multiple times in quick succession.

Fran-Does the idea of sex with men gross you out now, or is it just simply not a turn on at all anymore?

I have male friends that are gay who once did have sex with women (some actually did love having it with women and loved the women they were involved with. Since it is starting to take me all night to do what I used to do all night, I just use these guidelines:

If is a female partner, I try to give her as many orgasms as I can before I get one (anymore I probably ain't gonna be doin' it three or four times a night), and If I don't get one it is no big deal.

If it is a male partner, I try to shoot for (so to speak) having an orgasm at the same time as he does. And if I don't get one, it is no big deal there either.

I guess that I don't think love-making and sex is all about orgasms, but there is something absolutely amazing about gazing into the eyes of someone when they are having a climax, and knowing that I have been a part of giving them such great pleasure.

It depends on the act and who I am with. With a woman I always last longer doing anal than vaginal. It also depends on how worked up I get. If we stretch foreplay out and do it on and off, I can over stinulated and last hours. As for usual sex, vaginal, 10 minutes, anal up to 20, As for oral it depends on their skill... a good blow jober about 15 minutes, a poor one, I might never come.

As for men I never come getting anal sex but I get awlful worked up, but doing it and blow jobs, about the same as with a woman.
