Hi :)

I got a Kodak C763 Zoom Digital Camera for my birthday in July and just recently started using it.
I took some great pictures at a party I went to.

Well... Im having a HARD TIME transfering the pics to the computer!!

--The software is installed.

--I can see the pics on the cam on the perview screen on the computer when it askes me to select the pics I want to transfer.

-- I pick a pic, hit "transfer".... you see the trasnfer bar go to 100% then it says "0 pictures were transfered, photo will not be removed from device"

I opened the Help file and ya, it seems Im doing everything right.

WHY aren;t they transfering?? The help thing isn't saying much on that :( I don't know what to do. I tried everything and got mad at it last night.
But I tried again this morning after I claimed down (since things tend not to work when your mad lol) and it still wouldn't transfer.

Its very fusterating. I can't even "drag and drop" like I could with my other digital camera.

Help me please...... I need those pics. :)

Thanks in advance.

Tasha

I wish I could help ya out on that one Tasha--I am not familiar with that camera and its software--do you have a computer that has a memory card reader?? that makes things so easy-with my camera I have a USB cable for transferring photos but since my new laptop can read the memory card--all I have to do is to plug the card in the slot and the photos load themselves---if you don't have one with your computer---you can buy ones that connect via USB connections---

They don't cost all that much---it might be worth checking into---

Sorry I can't be of more help-maybe someone else can be---

ya, I do have the cable thing. I plug it in the camera and PC... I SEE the previews on the software after its turned on.

But I can't seem to transfer them no matter what... even the "transfer" button does the transfer process then tells me no pictures were transfered (yet I had clicked the pics to transfer)

Like 12voltman59 said, you need a USB card reader. This part is completely separate from the camera, and doesn't touch it at all--you just remove the memory card from the camera (should be behind a teeny tiny door on the side) and then insert the memory card into the right slot on the card reader. The card will appear as a separate drive (windowsXP and mac) and you can transfer them to your computer.

A Kodak digital camera was part of a major step towards my pro photography career, so I know what a pain they can be. But, take 12voltman59's advice and get the card reader--it'll save you more headaches than you can imagine!!
