Oh what a crock of shit! They have the toilets they're talking about in Seattle. There the idea was to make sure homeless people didn't sleep in them.

So..the door opens after a specified amount of time? I fail to see how that would deter a seasoned pervert..it might even make some of them happier.

I dunno - I'm too shy, and disgusted .. to do it in a public toilet .. right next to the urine soaked floor and the ..stuff.. floating in the bottom of the bowl.

If anything I would rather have the door CLOSED anyway..

There are some things kids shouldn't really see, and there are some people who are either ignorant or impatient enough to do that.

We live near Ft. Lauderdale and so far, most people have issue with Jim Naugle since he is a raging bible-thumping Homophobe and has raised the ire of just about everyone in the county at some point or other during his tenure as mayor.

I remember that in 1994, he cried about how Ft. Lauderdale was robbed because we didn't get the coveted "Best City" award. We lost because violent crime was up when he was claiming it was down.

Yeah I agree the money could be spent on better things but I don't thing it will stop people who want to have sex in the bathroom. I would never do it but other people may find it exciting you never know what people think, I HOPE that people would use good judgement and not do it in a public restroom.

That guy is a total idiot--it shocked the hell out of me that he got elected to mayor and held the position for so long---I thought Ft Lauderdale was a bit more progressive and sensible --

Hell-the powers that be in Lauderdale killed Spring Break there--it really was not that much of a problem----they had gotten control over things and it was making the businesses in the city tons of money---

I hope that they do run this guy out of Broward County on a rail!!!
