Love what u got to say, but I do take slight issue with this.

I'm not a republican, I'm a Green Libertarian, but my Lesbian friends and I plan to cast our vote for Ron Paul. He's not really a true Republican, however, but a libertarian. It's not really as simple as following a party line. The Republican party is a perverse shell of what it used to be. Did you know Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican President? I'm not giving u crap, man, I think you're cool as hell and oh so adorable. Saying things like all Republicans are right wing Christian homo/biphobes, or all bisexuals are swingers, or all mentally ill people are violent and malicious, or all autistic people(like me, asperger's syndrome) belong in institutions or all mexicans work in kitchens dehumanizes people and places them into evil little boxes. These are stereotypes that are harmful to society. Some people assume all us queers are democrats. I'm not, I'm on the fringe.
Consider this, throw out for a second the fact that Dr. Paul is running republican. He voted against the patriot act, the iraq war resolution, and the federal amendment to ban gay marriage. This man is on the side of freedom. That being said you are just too cute for words! Hope ya don't think I'm trying to be uncivil here, quite the opposite. Just giving you some advice my wise middle aged gay computer programmer gave me. Look closer. I've been giving myself that advice lately. A LOT.
We don't want to be pidgeonholed as being a certain way just because we love the same sex. We want people to see the GLBT community for the rich vast tapestry of diversity that those of us in it know it to be.

Yep, always looking for an excuse to either plug Ron Paul, stir shit up, or both. I was reading something earlier about Thomas the Apostle not believing in the messiah until he felt the wounds. I'd probably say, "I need to go to my lab and run some tests" :bigrin:
I had some revisions I meant to make (gay friend is a republican) and put a like me next to mentally ill. I'm sure there's more shit I forgot, but I think I captured most of what I was going for.
