I am cut as are my three boys . The youngest is 25 . At that time the question about why it was being done was just being asked . This was the first time I had seen an uncut penis and I thought something was medically wrong with this guy, like the head of his penis had been cut off and the skin grew around it. It wasn't until years later when I saw pictures of other uncut penises that I realized what it was all about.

Isn't it a little frightening that most of us younger American males have no idea what a normal penis looks like?

It really has only been in the last half of the 20th century that it became the norm to circumcize men in America without religious affiliations. It also depends on where in America. I can only assume that here in the midwest and in the more southern areas it is more prevalent. There are a number of unproven theories why circumcision is safer, etc, but my reasons for choosing that for my own children were social...sorry if I felt I had to keep up with the Jones's but school is difficult enough without that difference in the locker room.

I have only been with cut men, and made that decision for my children when they were born and it went off (no pun intended) without a hitch. Frankly I think penis's in general are not all that attractive so whether the foreskin is attached or not, as a woman, to me, it makes no dif.

Anyone replying is inherently biased. Especially if you're from America, circumcision in the norm. Not only that but basically all guys in porn films are cut. Which makes uncut men feel slightly weird. But uncut men make up the majority of the population. Only Americans, Jews, and Muslims circumcise they're guys.
