*sigh*

Having finally worked out how to actually get an avatat onto my account, i have now discovered that every freakin one i have tried is too damn big!!!

Please, can anyone help me adjust there sizes or advise generally? All the one's i have tried are under 19.5 KB as specified but they have too many pixels? (80 x 80 is max)

Grrrrrr, am frustrated here!

hey Creach. i had the same problem.
You have to crop them in Photoshop or some other image software.
Eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new avatar..... ;)

You can also do a "search" online for avatars and see if there is one you like that way. Otherwise it's like dafydd says, you do a lot of editing till it fits.

If its a non-animated avatar its actually pretty simple. just import to Photoshop, click "image size" and select the desired amount of pixels. Et Voila! I just sent you a PM, btw creach.

Try resizing it with the dimensions that are allowed.

Irfan view is a good free and open source program.

I resized the image of the Satyr to 54x80 since the width has to be 80 at the most and I tried making the length 80 since that's what's allowed but then the length was more than 80; but making the width 80 automatically solved that.
