Im sorry if I keep ranting about my being deaf. It can just be very fusterating sometimes especially when you keep meeting people you seem to get along with but its clear they'll rather hang out with thier other friends.
It has been like that most of my life. :(
Im just tired of fake and phoney friends.

I am sorry I keep ranting about how bad Penticton is too. :) Its true tho and some locals (who oringally lived elsewhere) agree with me lol
and that I keep wanting to move back to Ontario. :) I know, don't SAY it.... DO it right? :) :) :)

Im also sorry for ranting about my love life.... yes, I am a very lonely person right now so I tend to get carried away with my rants.
I do have friends at work but none are interested in hanging out outside work. So I guess you can imagine how lonely it can get when you have no one to do things with (shopping, coffee, just sitting there talking...etc)

Ive been in touch with childhood friends. Its so neat getting to know them again after having no contact with them since the early 90s :)
It is interesting finding old friends again... friends that Ive known well... even my childhood crush still lives in my old hometown *smiles* (haven't spoken to her yet but Ive spoken to her sister whos my friend too.)

I'll be in Ontario in July :) From the 4th till 11th to attend my cousins wedding :) Pretty excited about that. I'll be in New Liskard area. Haven't been there since the mid 90s I think!!!

Okies, Im sorry for rambling now and that this message may be pointless but I was reading my older threads and ya, they sound whiny. lol

Tash, we all use this forum to air questions, opinions, feelings, gripes, concerns, warnings, etc., etc., but apologizing for being hearing impaired... QUIT IT!!! That is like me apologizing for the fact I am getting older..... damn... there is nothing I can do to reverse the process, but I can just accept it and go on.

Your problem is that you apparently, along with your outlandish sense of service to your fellow man, obviously don't understand the concept of "Tough Love" which is far more successful at curing depression than your well trodden, destructive path of perpetuating 'self pity'.

Your other problem, among several, is your obvious lack of time here on this site. You have broken the rules of simply being decent to other posters who have opinions that, while they may differ from yours, don't deserve the 'flaming' by such as yourself.

Noting your spelling, I have nothing more to say to your undereducated self and I'll just bet, that if Tasha could've imagined your personal onslaught of self rightousness, against a fellow site user, maybe she would like to have a word on her own as to what this posting has wrought.

If she expresses her dissapointment to me personally about being upset at my response to her post, then, and only then, will I stay my hand from my opinions as to her depressing post.

You see, ForbiddenWindow, I have posted responses to Tasha's postings before and she knows, unless she has gone daft, that I would never say or do anything destructive to her very human sensitivity, however brittle.

Tasha's postings demonstrate that she is a wonderfully caring, sensitive human kind and reminds me of butterflies in the Spring of their lives.

So good day ForbiddenWindow, may you wallow in the sty of ignorance long enough to understand that not everyone that curses you is always your enemy and that not everyone that smiles at you is always your friend.

I do hope you stop feeling sorry for yourself and apologizing for things you have no control over Tasha. It's only going to make you more depressed and down on yourself. I couldn't control my race but I let other people dictate how I felt about myself growing up and let them destroy who I was. Now I'm slowly trying to correct that and I don't wish you to ever get that far gone.
