I am looking for good suggestions for Gay/Lesbian or Bi films. Very open minded to the content. I am not looking for just sex - story is important too.

So other than 'Broke Back Mountain' what other good Gay films are there that I might be able to find via the internet?

:)

Suggestions for pornography are also welcome ;)

Check out Kevin Smith's Chasing Amy, the Kinsey movie (called Kinsey), Y tu mama tambien, and Women in love.

I made a thread about bi movies here and put an article about them.

When I was about 10 or 11 I watched a film on telly called Leanne or Leanna. I dont remember too much about it except that it was the journey of a married woman to becoming a lesbian. It had quite an effect on me and was the beginning of my quest to understanding the feelings I had for my own sex which I had always found so difficult.

I havent seen it since, and dont even know if it was any good, just know how important it was 2 a pre-pubescent spoiled brat in becoming who she is today.

Certainly the most profound personal effect any film ever has...

Thank you for the spelling..no wonder I havent been able to track it down.

Of all the ones I've seen, there are only two:

Performance with Mick Jagger - if you've seen it you'll know what I mean ...

Orlando. This isnt a "bisexual" film in the strictest definition of the word. Its bisexuality stems from the changes in gender that Orlando experiences down the centuries, and the changes in experiences, situations and feelings accompany this evolution. That to me says much more about my bisexuality and identity than all the other bisexual films and TV shows put together.

How about Rent (musical made into film). I thought it was very good if you can do musicals

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, since there is no real sexual content. It deals with people wrestling with sexuality and AIDS
