He's Republican, anti-war, and the establishment is terrified of him

I know this might seem odd as I've voted green in the past, but this guy is a pretty intriguing character.
Plus, before I changed to NPA I was a registered Republican.

He is really more of a libertarian than a republican. So far, he's got my vote if he runs for president. He has always spoken and acted on what he believes in whether or not it would cost him votes. That's more than you can say for the rest of the presidential wanna-be whore mongers.

Yes, he really is a Libertarian but runs and aligns himself with the Republicans. What I like about Ron Paul is that he knows the Constitution and that is how he votes. He doesn't stand a chance for President, but he has my vote because I want someone who believes in the Constitution, regardless of how popular it is.

Yeah he's basically a Libertarian, too bad he can't run and be successful as a Libertarian, we really need another choice

So basically, the guy is an "honest" politician. A very rare bird, indeed. A politician who runs with his conscience rather than the party line. I like that.

One should always follow their conscience and not their party. I think the only reason that we have parties is to provide a coordination infrastructure for the politicians themselves.

I've seen videos of him at the GOP debate and he definitely seems like a great candidate. He definitely has my vote, even though he doesn't stand a chance :(

But who knows, if enough people vote for him you never know!
