Depressing Picture in the BC Newspapers......

So at work while on break I looked at the old newspapers that were laying on the table.
Well.. I WAS SHOCKED :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: and saddened to see one talking about the war on the other side of the world BUT it had babies holding REAL guns (pictures). One was like 1 year old... the other boy was maybe 5 or 6 years old. Both holding guns!

It was a scary picture to see :(

In many African nations--the use of child soldiers in the numerous conflicts in that part of the world has become such a problem--the United Nations has created an entire division and have a person heading that program at the rank of Under Secretary to deal with this in the aftermath of these wars--and the condition persists in some areas where fighting is ongoing---

Other areas that the use of child soliders are known to have taken place include Latin America and the Middle East.

Such an incredibly horrorific thing to use children as pawns in war---

Ya. Children auto think anything a adult tells them is the right thing to do. Especially believeing the "If you don't do what I say, you'll be in trouble" stuff.

yea it's really sad that they do this. They do this because they think that the soilders won't shot the little kids and they also teach them to shot. Which i think is just terrible but you really can't do nothing it's not like it is over her. They use them for many different things because they are kids. lil bit
