No its not me..lol.... Just read an article that Yahoo is doing away with its yahoo photos, to be announed to yahoo photo suscribers in June. Their options are going to include upgrading to flickr or your choice of online storage sites.

So looking for a new free home for my " private" (yes pun intended) photos. One where I control who see's the photo's...Any suggestions?

They do on occasion pull pics and send a warning to you about it. I've not used it, but friends from an Am Pics board have and they have had varying amounts of problems with it.

I use Photobucket for storing non-sexual pics--it is my understanding that they have a zero tolerance policy to nudity or anything like that--they make that pretty well clear when you join---I think to the point that your membership is terminated just like MySpace kills your profile if you post any such pictures--

I am sure there are places you can put risque pictures on the net-but you will probably have to pay for that abiltiy---

You can do all of that on Flickr.

I've seen guys post personal adult oriented pics in their photo collection that are hidden from everyone but people who are on their contact list who is marked as a friend.

A bit of a heads up on Photobucket. At another board I moderate at, we recently had an incident where a member was found to be hacking into other users photobucket accounts to access their "private" photos. So you'll probably want to make sure that where ever you host your pics, you make sure you can limit and control the access to them.

Thank you all for your responses, I'm not loading my pics on Photobucket. Just seems to dangerous for me. I'll check out flickr, and if I have to pay for storage, Fuck that! Cause I'll just take pics, upload them where I need to, and delete the things off the hard drive or Maybe I'll get myself a flash drive or something..

Well photo prob solved. My photo's account was flagged as indecent and placed on restriction. So I wouldn't have been able to cross them over to any site anyway. So I delete all the photo's and asked my account to be re-assessed. Wheeeeeee.

Never store anything online that you don't want the world to see. Any good network administrator has no trouble hacking into a network. As a matter of being a pro it usually doesn't happen. You can get a Sandisk 1gb thumbdrive at radio shack for $20.
Although if you have a problem keeping pictures on your hard drive you shouldn't be taking them. Whether you are cheating, have kids or what ever reason you can't hide them so well that someone else can't find them. I don't mean to be rude but it is a fact. If you think deleting your pictures gets rid of them you need to think again. Deleting them only changes the first attribute of the file name. The file is still there and any computer literate kid can rebuild the file darn near as fast as you deleted it. :2cents:
