Good luck Kitten, hope that this goes quick and you and Taz aren't trying to recuperate at the same time.

Kitten,

Wow, Bill, my hubby just had a kidney stone attach three weeks ago. He had neve been in so much pain. He said had he know that this is what childbirth was like, we would not have our daughter...Hope they have given you medicine to make you comfortable. I am not sure if the surgury for a kidney stone is the same as the one I had for my gallstone, if it is similar then you should be all set.

Keep up the cheerie smile. Give your hubby my best.

thanks everyone for all your kind words and prayers they are much appreciated. when I am in pain I take morphine, I still have some from when doc prescribed them about a month ago. he gives prescription when ever I tell him I am running out, because he knows how much pain I can be in from my back. it seems if im not takin them to recover from surgery I am takin them cause I have another stone. since this one is the same as the last one and it feels like its in the same spot im afraid they may have to stick tubes in my back again to get the stone out. I am tryin to put my surgery off as long as I can so that taz can be healed up from his b4 I go for mine, cause I really need him with me.

Sorry to hear about your situation. For whats it's worth, I've had three bouts of kidney stones. Luckly I have not had surgery. I drank mass amounts of cranberry juice, I mean like a gallon aday. It took 4 weeks but each time the stones disolved. They were calcium and folic acid stones.

Good luck!

Awwww... I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly. The one bright spot is the morphine. Good drugs  Enjoy the high ;)

I went to the doc yesterday about my kidney stones and he told me that I am to have tubes put in my back once again. I go in to the hospital on july 22. I have 2 days of antibiotics, then the next day the tubes get put in, then the day after that I go into surgery to get stones out, on the 26th they go back in to make sure they didnt miss any fragments of them. so I will atleast be in the hospital for 2 weeks, a week of meds and surgeries and a week to recover.

Best of luck to both of you.
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
