Do PO boxes cost anything??? (Canadians Only)

I am wondering if it costs anything to get a PO Box at the post office??
I said Canadians Only cause I don't know if the rules are the same for the USA.

My sister in law gave me a great idea today to post a ad in the newspaper (not saying who I am of course) BUT to use a PO Box as my return addy so I can't be tracked down of course! :)

So is there a fee or anything to have one??
