This isn't a poem (and I can't write poetry) This is more of a "thought" that Im writing down in words:
I would love to have a woman seduce me.
Wanting to get to know me, comes up to me all the time and smiles should I happen to look her way.
A woman that will always tell me nice things about myself.
Maybe knows sign langauge too whenever she knew from experiences in her life or learnt it after knowing Im hearing impaired so I can understand her better.
A woman that'll make me feel very special and appericate my romantic side and has one of her own too.
A woman that loves me for who I am and I love her the same.
A woman whom I think just wanted to be friends but surprises me one day with a kiss.
A woman who I can make love to and she returns the love. Showering each other's bodies with kisses, gently tracing fingers against the skin to give that tingly feeling and shiver.
A woman that'll become my long term partner and we are very happy together.

You may not have intended on that being a poem, but it was very poetic how you wrote it. What you wrote is beautiful. Beautifully expressed.

:flag4: Hi TashaSW. I am a published poet myself and think you with such expression for words should persue the avenue further and give youself more credit. What you wrote was from your heart and makes for a wonderful poet.Don't sell yourself short I began just as you have. Think about it and good luck. :flag4: Mouse46

I concur :) You expressed your needs and desires so beautifully and simply that *I* think it would qualify as poetry. After all, poetry doesn't have to rhyme to be lyrical and this was most assuredly lyrical and heartfelt.

Tasha--I do hope that one day soon--you will find just such a person to love you and to help you and you help her as you go through your lives--I am sure that you will find just such a person---be patient--such a person will come into your life--I am sure of it--and it will happen when you least expect it most likely.

Am a bit pushed for time Tash or wud say more. Poetry takes many forms, and much we say and write is poetic whether we realise it or not. From deep within us we have our thoughts and desires and commit them to paper... some argue that which is poetic is not poetry... I argue the opposite..by definition it must be. Your desires are beautifully expressed and are echoed by many of us here and elsewhere. The poetry within your soul demands that you achieve that wish you hold dear.

I wish we lived nearer to each other, then we could seduce each other - I'd hate to think it would be all one way!

I think that it was wonderful. I think that you may not have ment it to be a poem but that is what i think that it is. It is very pretty. You should write more of them because you are still good at it. I wish you the best lil bit

Do share it with us when you do!
I would call it a blend between prose and poetry, nevertheless artful. Have you heard about a genre called Flash Fiction? It's kind of like that. Check out this link: http://www.writing-world.com/fiction/flash.shtml
That article tells you kind of the gist, although I disagree wholeheartedly with its admonition to eliminate descriptive words. For a better look at what flash fiction is, check out the books linked in the article. I own "Sudden Fiction" and reccommend it, but know nothing about the other books.
I didn't know much about the genre either until I took a fiction writing class at my university and had to write a few. Attached are some of my flash fiction attempts.
