Isn't Escort also a form of hookers?

Or are escorts more "safe" in a way cause a lot are private and only deal with certain kinds of people while hookers will do anyone that asked and has the money??

Escort does not ostentably promise sex. . .it's implied, but never explicit. You can hire an escort to...be a date at a function - - then you have sex with her after. In theory, an escort is a more educated grade of sex worker.

A hooker does promise sex. Sex is all she is there for.

An escort works for an agency which is obstensibly her/his pimp. All the minor details are worked out in advance, she just has to show up. Hence the higher fees. The poor hooker stands out on the street, working for a guy called 'Spike' and has to entertain every scumbag that crawls or else he'll slap her around.

Escorts are the people that go out with you for the big money and they don't promise you sex. they are just there on your side to make you look good to people that are around you. Hookers are the ones on the side of the road that will do anything for a dollar. that is what they are there for to satisfy your sexual needs. The really big difference between them is the money and one you are not promised sex and one you are. lil bit

Most people have pretty well defined the two terms pretty well.

I do tend to think of escorts as being a bit more "upscale" considering top end ones can get thousands of dollars per night for their services--and they do tend to look and dress better---they don't do anything on the street like "hookers" tend to do and escorts are usually free of drug habits and diseases---

Some of them travel all over the world to service very high end clients like top corporate and governement clients--like Saudi princes and potentates and the like--high end Japanese and now Chinese businessmen--they all love western women, epecially blondes and redheads---

These ladies and men too--can make hundreds of thousands of dollars per year-while street hookers can do ok--most of what they make goes to their pimps and to satisfy their drug habits---it may be a cliche but it does tend to be true that they are druggies--I had many such gals on probation---it was interesting that we basically let them do their thing as long as they could work in a club dancing--I had lots of gals who left the street to work the strip clubs--my job was one of the few where you could say that you were working---I had to make the rounds of many such places--but they were usually pretty low rent and I felt like I had to take a shower when I was done to get the slime off.

At least with the hookers--I always got whatever money the gals owed for restitution of whatever thanks to their pimps and they did keep them off drugs while the gals were "on paper." The pimps did not want to make us mad--they were usually kind of cool with us and they sure were personalities!

I did have one high end escort gal who had swindled a few hundred grand from some company she also worked for. The day she was sentenced and started probation-she handed me a cashier's check for about $200,000 ; she always reported regularly and never came up positive on a piss test for drugs. She got off early from her five year probation term-she was off in two years which is the minimum probation term in most states.
