View Full Version : Is it full moon or what?

I checked the phase of the moon as the full moon seems to be correlated to violent outbursts, but it seems that there isn't a full moon for a few days yet...

http://stardate.org/nightsky/moon/

Lately I've seen that anything here can be interpreted in many ways that probably the authors did not intend originally, and the effect seems to be snowballing (and I'm not speaking here about the expression used in a sexual context... :tong: ) getting more and more aggressive and more and more disturbing  as it seems that people get less and less easy-going... and more and more offended/critic about what others say.

One of the last threads I've seen following what I find a disturbing trend lately here is that one about transexuals.

Firstly, I don't think the term "trannie" is in itself derogatory, but it can be, as many other neutral words, depending on who uses it and how it is used. I even use the ending "-ie/-y" as a way to make closer some friends' nicks. Let's say I have a friend in here whose nickname/avatar is moon... so I could address him/her as moonie/moony (with all the jokes ready for a cheeky chat... )

I have seen/heard even terms considered clearly offensive like "faggot", happily used by some homosexuals and even some heterosexuals but in a way that it is clearly friendly without the negative aspects of it.

Secondly, I as a looker for new experiences and sensations, didn't find offensive/strange a question about the singularities of having sex with a transexual. For me it is the same as asking how was it with 2 girls/3 girls/2 men/3 men/1 man + 2 women/ ...

What it can be strange for some is the thought of having part of the equipment of a man and part of a woman (in a pre-op transexual) in just the same person. Certainly is not as strange (you should think) as having 3 or more tits in a woman (there are!!!) or 2 dicks in a man (there are too!!!).

I think we should be a little more open-minded and not so defensive and critic when a thread is posted.

I thought I had seen almost everything and then, just a few days ago, I was surprised to watch some porn a friend passed me, where I could see some women taking 2 dicks up their asses at the same time and in another scene, 2 dicks up their pussies at the same time... It was a first for me!!!

There is always place to be amazed for what others experience, think, ask, etc. It can enrich our minds to see things from other people's points of view, but even if you disagree or are not happy with that thread, I think we should try to avoid words/expressions that can offend or be taken as an offence.

I try to re-read my posts before submitting them, and even after submitting them, but even so, I usually see still mistakes or things that I don't like how I've expressed them, but then I use the "edit" option to make amendments to them so I try all the time not to offend anyone, but still I do... !!!???

All the best,

ray

Well Ray the moon is waxing, and that can be intense. Perhaps this month will be a doozy of a full moon? I know the natives are restless in my life for sure... it's almost like Mercury never went direct when it should have and is stuck permanently in retrograde.

lol ray, no matter what you do, somebody will get offended....

its not that you are posting in a offensive manner, its that the person took offense and made it a issue

if we used the NO offensive words rule, then you would find that the words, * queer, gay, homo, faggot, cock, cunt, fuck, homosexual, bisexual, trannie, tranny, trans, les, dyke, wench, whore, anal, anus etc... would disappear

the reason is simple,... it would only take one person to get offended to the word, for it to start a chain reaction about the word being offensive and how people should not post it

simply, you would end up logging into your favourite site

WWW. persons of unspecified origins with sexual. emotional, mental and platonic preferences towards non gender specific persons.com

I know people sometimes say the full moon can affect human behavior---cops and people who work in hospital ERs sure believe that --I don't know.

I do know one thing for sure though---people are very different in these post 9/11 days.

I just took some training where we discussed how people are different since 9/11 and the way you approach them in doing business--for instance--if you are paying a call to someone's home for something like a consultation on some work you will perform at their home--when you get there--it is advised to no longer offer to shake hands--doing something like handing them a businesss card first and certainly do not enter their home without very clearly being invited in.

The experts say to be aware of this since people are now far more protective of their "personal space."

I do think the testiness that I see on this site and generally in the world is more pronounced since 9/11 and the subsequent attacks in the UK, Spain and elsewhere and also that we have had this "war" going on for four years now----this war is no getting to the length of World War II and while the current war is certainly not as all encompassing as WWII was---this war has no end in sight--I think people are now more on edge than ever and the situation will probably not be changing any time soon.

i've heard from the millionares that deal constantly with all walks of life talking about this....

they say that North America is falling under a sickness. It's a disease called status.

i wonder if one of the root causes would be that people of the twentieth century are far wealthier than our forefathers could have imagined in their wildest dreams.
