Maybe it's too late and you won't be around to read this but I am sorry to see anyone go. Sites like this one thrive with a diversity of opinions and ideas. You have posted in excess of 200 times, so obviously you have contributed your ideas and perceptions and added to the community. The impact of your departure will have only a transitory effect, whereas your continued presence will have a much greater effect.

SO I for one would encourage you to stay.

Hey Trip...
I saw the comment that apparently was the last straw for you. If you need, take some time off and then come back. Personally, I think this is a little hasty. Don't let someone, anyone, flip your trigger like that. I agree, it has been a little gruesome of late, but have a cold one and then come on back. Your experience is much needed by everyone here.

Sorry if you feel as if you have had enough and need to leave. I too have had my issues and have taken a break here and there. But I really hope your decision isn't permanant. Take Care Trip. And we will be here if you ever decide to come back.

I've no idea what happened to sour you on this entire site but it must be pretty severe. I'm sorry that things are rough. I for one really wish you would reconsider. We could use more folks like you here.
