A wee villanelle I wrote on the subject...

For This I'm Told That I Will Burn

For this, I’m told that I will burn,
These unchecked lusts, hedonic ways
Which I embrace, and heaven spurn.

And so, in fright, I try to turn,
Too late, and trapped within their blaze,
For this, I’m told that I will burn.

I cannot choose for whom I yearn,
I’m lost within desire’s maze,
Which I embrace, and heaven spurn.

My sexuality, I’ve learned,
Is more than just a simple phase,
For this, I’m told that I will burn.

When love I’m shown, love I return,
Regardless whom bestows such praise,
Which I embrace, and heaven spurn.

So if a place in Hell I earn,
When love, with love, my heart repays,
For this, I’m told that I will burn,
Which I embrace, and heaven spurn.

Wow. Great work Biguy! It's a wonderful poem. Thank you for sharing with us. I love poetry and write them too. There's something about a man spouting poetry that gets me weak in the knees. :tong:
