Hello,
I have been having a dickens of a time finding Non-latex Dental damns. It is sooooo hard. I have found one brand "Hot Damn" and they sucked big time.
Not to mention, they seem to be on indefinate backorder everywhere.
The cost is a little high too.
Also, HOW can you 69 with a damn?
MY GF and I have been going insane trying to get this to work.
Any holding techniques?
hugs,
RC

Should we take it the cheap-n-cheerful alternative to latex dams (non-microwaveable clingfilm*) didn't meet your requirements either?
* Non microwaveable, for those not 'in the know', doesn't have the little holes that let air through for safe microwaving of food -- and so is also an effective barrier for sexually transmitted nasties.

Perhaps try finding some non-latex condoms and cutting them? I've never had to find this, but I suspect they might be more readily available.
As for getting 69 to work...well, I hope it is at least a little fun to try all the possibilities!

I tried cutting both Non-latex gloves and condoms...doesn't work too well, not enough, er... surface area. Cling wrap tastes god awful, and is very difficult to work with.
And yes we have have a hugely fun time working together to find proper 69 techiniques.
Hee hee,

Dental dams are devises designed to allow you to do safe oral sex--most of them are made of latex--something that is a problem for some people for they are allergic to latex and/or don't like the feel, texture or taste of latex. Non-latex pieces are those not made of latex.
Cling wrap is just simply store bought celophane wrap like Glad-Wrap.
69 is the term for two people performing mutual, simultananeous oral sex upon one another.

I've never tried it, but I've seen demonstrations where women used a garter belt to hold the dam in place - they pulled the front straps around the hips and snapped them on in back, and vice-versa.
I could swear there used to be a kind of harness for holding the dam in place - called "Dammit Janet," IIRC - but I can't seem to Google one up.

ratchick,
i tried some of my alternate supplier sites, including xandria.com , castlesmegastore.com and even condomania.com and sorry they don't seem to carry anything but latex dams.. i truly understand your plight, i don't like the taste of latex either, and i have several playmates who are allergic to latex and have been using alternative material condoms, tho they tend to break more often.
good luck i see so many who are trying to help.
