Hey im having trouble getting into chat when i click on the link it says i must install java virtual machine so i click download, then another window pops up from microsoft.com saying that i do not have java, then i click the link on there to find out more information but then there appears to be no where on that page where i can download it.

whats going on? somebody please help xx.

try going to www.java.com and following the download links from there. what browser are you using, i know firefox can be a pain to install java on sometimes.

there is a link on this site that you can use to get java I've already gotten it since its the most recent one and everyone should get it cause they fixed more things this time.

java normally works quite well with IE, so you should be able to get it from java.com if not let me know and i'll see if i can find another copy somewhere and give you a download link

Sun Microsystems develops Java. You can get free downloads at
java.sun.com
or at
www.java.com/en/download

Yep, to confirm, www.java.com or www.sun.com/java/ will have the download you need for Windows or Mac. It's very safe to install and quite stable, so no worries there. Just be aware, if you like to keep your system free from crap, that they may ask if you want to install other stuff like the Yahoo or Google toolbars, during the installation - so read the windows that pop up carefully if that kind of stuff concerns you.

Almost all systems come with Java pre-installed, but it sounds like your system doesn't have it right now.
