Hi im Daniel im 19 years old, from England and im bisexual HOORAY it feels good to put that on here lol. Ive been looking at this web site for a while now but ive only just registered but anyway I only consider myself semi-out because only a few of my close friends know so far but they have all been totally fine with it. I can honestly say i have never been depressed about my sexuality i was just embarresed at first because i didn't know what my friends would think because its something ive never talked about with them and all of them are straight which is actually one of the main reasons ive come on here because I don't really know any other bisexual people and i need people to talk too. Ive been bisexual for about three years now from the age of sixteen but being bisexual still feels a little confusing because it was all so sudden having never felt attracted to guys at any other time in my life until i turned 16 and having read stories written by gay, lesbian and bisexual people they all seem to have known that they were gay, lesbian or bisexual from a very young age.
What im curious to know is has anybody else been in a situation like me? because althought i am attracted to guys and girls and it feels natural to me i just feel a bit old to start having these feelings it makes me feel awkward when my friends ask me since when have you been bi.

Welcome Daniel! Let me be the first to greet you. This is a wonderful site and I think you'll be happy here. Like you, I don't have a real life bisexual community so this is where I come to feel like part of a family.
Also like you, I didn't come into my bisexual self until later in life. Although, for me it was MUCH later. I was 38 when I really discovered my bisexual side. I'm turning 40 in January. It is only in retrospect that I see now that I have been Bi for a very long time.
It can be a little rough in the beginning so don't hesitate to post anything and everything that you're curious about. You can also search for older threads on the topic you're wondering about.
Take care and make yourself at home :)

Welcome Daniel - allow me to be the second to greet you.
I am not going to go into how I got here - but rather, I am just glad to be here. This is probably the koolest place on the web for bi's to come to.
Come and join us in the chat room.
Have fun and enjoy.

Welcome Daniel!!!
All I'm going to say is do whatever feels right to you. For me, doing what I felt was right and necessary was difficult, but for the most part I've done it. There are some people I feel don't need to be privy, and that's all there is to it. You are brave at such a young age to have confronted and accepted your sexuality, now you have plenty of time to experiment!!!
luv and kisses

Hei, Daniel! Welcome! :D I read your story.. Well then, it kinda sounded familiar, guess why!
Well, one little note: I have been living in your country for about 4 years.. :D And that country "made me" bisexual, you know? :D Therefore, you should feel responsible!! :p

mmmh! 19 years old and "... i just feel a bit old to start having these feelings..."????
i'm in my mid forties, and i have been attracted to men and women since i found out about sex, somewhere around 10 years to 12 years old. there is nothing wrong about your feelings, its normal, and you have many years to look forward to in sorting out and discovering the depths of your yearnings!
welcome and good luck, you've lucked out and discovered a great site!
