DoubleList being wonky on me again.

My current problem with DL is that when I click on a link to an ad, I get an error that DL is "currently unable to handle this request." It has been this way for a few days.

Anyone else having a problem?

Fortunately I have a line on a new sub friend that answered my ad on DL last week and that I think he will be a lot of fun.

Doublelist. com has went to chit. Started charging and I am not paying 10.oo a mo for all the gamers and BSers on it. I posted a ad and it has layed in review now for over a week. Time to scrap it.

I know that it spazzes out a bit know, but I just hit the previous arrow or the home link (the double list name) and I can continue. Also, the cost to join page does come up every now and then, but it eventually goes away (like a pushy salesman once you?ve persistent said ?NO!?) I?ve had a couple of good results from it

I had some good hot get togethers from DL over the past couple of years. But now I find that a lot of my ads seem to never post at all or the responses never get to me (my ads always got at least a few responses before) and the only time I get any action is responding to others' ads (and those are limited). It's clear that they just want me to pay to get my ads up where they can be seen, but at the same time the listings have devolved into spam by the same suspects and pic hunting bs.

Not a direct reply to the issue of Doublelist being wonky, but I find Doublelist a poor substitute for Craigslist. Before CL stopped doing personals, I met up with a handful of guys, mostly jerking together or each other, one guy twice and received oral. In the few years after CL and trying out DL, I have not met up with anyone though I have tried. I admit that a few times it was me that decided not to pursue things after making contact with someone. But all in all, DL seems to have a lot more fakes and very few decent replies whether I create a post or answer one.
