Ever suspect someone gained access to your e-mails/pics ? Activated an old tablet for a friend in Hospital to watch movies. Logged in while setting device back up. Deleted a few nudes from previous tablet owner several years ago. I was surprised to find out a third party walked off with it claiming it was theirs ! I was still logged into a few accounts...yikes

One of my pastimes is fixing peoples PCs and devices....... and some of the shit I find on there, is rather eye opening....... I do ask for passwords that are required to access the system as I may have to restart the device a few times, or depending on the issue, I will ask permission to put things on the device like a short video file to test for issues ....but outside of that, I try to avoid viewing any personal files or emails.......
But sometimes I have had to view history on devices to see if I can find out where a person may have downloaded a problematic program or file and yeah some of their search history is interesting.......and in a few cases, I have backed up the information and forwarded it to a police contact of mine as the nature of what I find is extremely distasteful, highly illegal and there are victims involved, and on a number of cases, months later the person is arrested during a police operation......
I am not bothered if people are watching porn, looking at sex toys, cheating on their partners, hooking up with other people, screwing the family pet lol.......and often I advise people with laptops and PCs to get a back up external drive to save their more interesting site on that, as well as having a seperate browser with a different email account, on the drive.... that way when they want to enjoy themselves, just plug it in and they are good to go, and later if they need their device fixed, unplug it and clear the PC history......no record remains......
