Hotel away

So I am curious on how many of you had had fun on a business trip away for a night. I am heading away for a long weekend for work to St.Louis and was wondering if I would have a higher chance possible meeting someone in hotel bar or a local establishment. So looking for advice. I am very new to this but am very curious to possibly get some interaction.

I used to travel a good bit for work and loved hooking up out of town. Back when craigslist was active it was the perfect place to post an ad. Doublelist is it's "replacement" but have found it hit or miss in my area. I've never had any luck just randomly picking a guy up in a bar. I've found it best to try and find someone before you get to town. Give doublelist a try, post an add guy in town can host in hotel. There are a lot of bi guys who can't host. Are you on Adam4Adam? or grindr ... both are good alternatives. Good luck and have fun.

+1 on what Warmnsalty said... I personally have had some good luck with Doublelist. Post your add before you head out, be specific about what you are looking for and be prepared to weed out the flakes.
I would just add that ahead of a business trip I start posting about a week ahead then put up another post every other day to keep you add on the front page. Posting ahead also gives prospective hook-ups the time to lay their own 'ground work' for and possible meet.

I try and play whenever I'm out of town. Had some pretty good hook ups. Doublelist works good for me but only when I place the ad never had any luck responding to an ad.

An out of town business trip a few years ago was where I started exercising my bi bone! Met a nice guy by chance at a theater and enjoyed the encounter and my hotel time. I travel frequently for work, needless to say there are some lonely times and some fun times. Thankfully I travel to well known destinations and over the yrs have been able to cultivate some fantastic friendships. There is some piece of mind getting to a familiar location and being able to send a text or a phone call to a trusted like minded friend who enjoys the same evening entertainment that you seek.

I have related this before but it is relevant here: when traveling on business one way I have found that has worked rather well for me is.. now this sounds kinda odd but hear me out.. I call it sending the message.. when I arrive at my hotel I if not already wearing very sheer lacy silk thong or g string panties put them on.. then a loose fitting pair of shorts or sweats.. then a shorter t shirt.. the shorts or sweats fit so they ride quite low on my hips.. so that when I sit at the bar my panties are revealed.. I walk in look around to show that I am not familiar with the place.. go to the bar usually find a stool with no back or sit at a corner closest to the center so I can be seen by the most people.. my shorts are low my shirt is high and my panties are on display.. sending the message.. I try to find a seat that has at least one empty seat next to me.. someone interested will come sit next to me and strike up a conversation about my panties.. if I am not interested in him I tell him it was a golf bet I lost with my buddy and I always pay my bets.. other wise my panties got me a night of fun..

Swinger websites are your best bet. Most women there identify as bi-something and increasingly many men are also identifying as bi-something too (tho in many few numbers still). I think you're less likely to find bi-only websites tho.

We used a swinger website that's only local to our area, so that won't help you, but there are other sites that are more international such as swingingheaven or fet life (lots of non fetish people on fet life).

I have seen ads in Double List and "hosting" posts on Sniffies
I've never followed through - never gotten responses. Maybe it's my age - a businessman may be hoping for some fun with a younger guy.
After reading posts on this topic, I have thought about going to a local hotel bar for a drink and scoping it out. It might be fun to just see what happens.
