Has monkey pox changed anyone's dating habits?

I was going to start looking for a new playmate, but the outbreak has me and my wife a little circumspect. I had a good candidate before monkey pox showed up, but he's military and got deployed dammit!

Just curious what everyone's thoughts are.

This is one reason I was very choosey of a play mate, not just this but any STDs, these guys who only want random strangers at parks etc, I would not touch. I am looking for someone who wants to take the time to get to know and trust eachother, establish a bond together as friends then sex would be more enjoyable. This is why I havent found any one here yet, been looking, but weed out the for right nows and game players all the time.

I have a long-term partner.
So, it is easy for me to wait until monkey pox is not a problem before considering sex with others.

Seeing how Covid hit, for the last two years it has been nonexistent.

We are in a closed group of couples so no problem here. But there have been some cases of monkey pox in our area from what I hear. I am sure that will put a damper on free sex but for us we are staying safe.
