This is to let everyone know that my most special friend, Mrs. F, lost her father today from injuries he sustained in a recent farming accident. He put up a good fight for 2 weeks, but unfortunately he just couldn't fight any more.

I have talked with Mrs. F a few times today. She is hanging in there, but the hurt of losing her father is still very hard to take.

She is one of the most special people in the world to me and I love her dearly!
I know that she is loved by a lot of people on this site. I just wanted to let you all know what has happened and to give her your condolences.

((((((((((((((((Mrs.F)))))))))))))))))))!!!! I will ALWAYS be here for you my dear friend!!!!!!!!

With love and prayers,

Macy

My heart goes out to Mrs. F in her time of grief. If there is anything I can do, let me know.

Unfortunately there isn't much I can say at a time like this. I'm sorry for her loss and she and Flounder will be remembered in my thoughts.

My dear Mrs F,

If we could, we would physically lift your pain, make it ours. Because we know that is impossible, this is what we have to offer: His pain is gone, and now it is you and your family who are left with the remainder of that pain. Our condolences for certain go out to all of you. Having been born and raised in the country (as you know), I'm all too familiar with your situation. Just know that we are all thinking of you and your family and you are all in our prayers, hun.

Love, hugs and kisses,
meteast

It is never easy to lose someone we love. Our thoughts and prayers to you and Flounder at this time as you learn to live without your father. I'd like to pass on a small poem that was sent to us when hubby's (westtennbiguy) father died about 4 yrs ago. It really helped him and his family get through that time. They even had it read at his funeral service.

Death is nothing at all
I have just stepped into the next room
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used to
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight
I am waiting for you, for an interval
Somewhere....very near....just around the corner
All is well, nothing is past, nothing is lost
One brief moment and all will be as it was before....only better
Infinately happier.... forever

Mrs. F,
The greatest achievment a parent can have is to bring up a child as special as you are.
Your father is lifted into heaven by the love of his family. His spirt lives in the hearts of his children and grandchildren. And that makes him immortal.

ur ever luvin

Mrs F & Flounder,
At times like this, my brain goes totally blank looking for the words to express my thoughts. Forgive me for looking at Bear's comment and just saying I second that. Peace & love will carry you thru the next few days.

Dear Mrs. F and Flounder,

At this moment you are saying goodbye to your beloved dad. Like Used Bear said so eloqunetly above, a parents greatest joy is to know that he raised his children to be "good people". Your dad was superior in his lifes goal as he raised you to be the strong, compassionate and loving woman you are. We will be here, your extended can caring family of this site now and in the coming months. Know that our hearts are with you, Flounder and your son.

:grouphug: Thank you all so much for your kinds words. I know my dad raised me, my sister and brother to be good people. He would never have had it any other way.
I feel relief now that he is resting and at peace and no longer feeling pain or the need to fight for US....because I think he held on as long as he did because he didn't want us to be without him. But in the end he knew that he could not come back to us physically and we were willing to let him go on to another life.
He is happy now, probably already found himself another semi and field...lol. And even though he's out of our sight, he will never be out of our minds or heart.

A very special thank you to the people who mean the world to me...and I know that I would never be able to live without you all now. You have been so wonderful to Flounder and I.

We love you so much Bill and Belle, Usedbear, jo69guy, and mothergoose! Our lives have been so filled with love since we met you! :grouphug: :grouphug:

My heart goes out to you with the loss of your dad. I too have lost my father and it is so very painful. But, life does go on and the best thing you can do is to live your life as fully and as happily as you can. It will be painful at first but eventually you will remember all the good times with him instead of focusing on your loss. Don't feel guilty for laughing at his funny moments, cherish your memories and hold them dear! Your dad may be physically gone but you will always have him very close in your heart!

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief.

Hugs,
Kate

Flounder and Mrs. F,

My thoughts and feelings are of you right now. I lost my dad in May '05 - yes it was hard - but as Kate said, it does get easier as time passes. Know this, at any time (I know that I don't speek for just myself) if there is anything at all that I can do to help either of you, please, please don't hesitate to contact me.
We love you and pray for you both.

Mrs. F,

ALWAYS know that I am here for you! Anytime you need a ear, a hug, someones shoulder when you're feeling blue or just need a happy hug, I'll be there for you. You are such a dear sweet friend. We've been through good and bad times together, and I'm sure there will be a lot of those 'inbetween' times, too! Just know that you are always in my heart and thought the world of by a lot of people.

Take your time and don't worry about work. We're holding up okay until you and your mom get back. Everything is covered! We just miss you lots!
