I am absolutely certain that getting and giving blowjobs is probably one of the most enjoyable experience for anyone- straight or bi. I sn sn absolute “giver”... of blow jobs.

I am someone that gave a blow job only once in early 2018. That’s my last.
Of late I have been getting invitations to give blow jobs. These are folks that I don’t know- just met online.
I hear a lot about the incurable Herpes that can be spread by oral sex. I hear that this can only controlled, not cured, once contracted.

My dilemma is this .. I have a huge urge to suck dick , but also want stay healthy and free of STI’s. From that perspective, how concerned should I be about contracting Herpes with oral sex?

Closeted BI guy here.

Thanks for your reply.

you can get it if he's shedding virus. and may be asymptomatic but still a carrier.

blow guys with a condom.....if you put a lot of lube inside, it's pretty enjoyable for him....when i do that I have them pull out, take it off and i jerk them onto my face.....very safe, very enjoyable

have fun

Being selective is also very helpful.

Either break out the condoms... or leave suspicious dicks alone.

Condoms are only partially effective if the condom is not properly put on. Herbes (2) can get around the edge of the condom and your skin. It is best to abstain when the virus is active and you know it (tingles in some cases).

Rumour : Herpes 1(cold sore) can mutate to herpes 2 and go on to your genitals.

Trust is also a must. For the cock sucker and the bearer of the cock both have trust each other that they are telling the truth. Communication is key.

What about a bite on the lips, tongue or cheeks? I wouldn't want eat something sometime before I had a plan to meet someone and I bite my inner cheek and then have to put things on hold.

You can get HSV1 oral herpes on your genitals and vice versa. It doesn't mutate like that.

I think it's all about risk mitigation. If a man has active herpes he almost certainly knows it and is showing lesions pretty obviously. Yes carriers that are asyphtomatic do exist but they are the exception rather than the rule. Risk can be controlled by careful partner selection. HSV1 and HSV2 are separate strains of the virus and each only causes one type of Herpes, no mutations from one to the other have been clinically documented. When in doubt just look at his genital area. If there are no sores you are probably safe. I have seen many patients who have an initial outbreak and then never have another for up to decades.

Back in the seventies when I was active I was so horny the urge to suck would build to a point that the dangers were hardly considered. It was pre-aids, and so easy to hook up. Since then other than a weekly get together FWB around the turn of the century I haven't gotten much or looked too hard.

Thankfully, I've dodged the bullet on STD's.

Now a'days I would have to get to know someone before sharing bodily fluids with him.

Thankfully, there's plenty of internet porn at my fingertips, but it sure would be nice. I may go to my grave without tasting another cock or feeling one stroking to pulse up my ass.

I always play it safe and assume if the person is sending a bunch of random requests, I need to be careful

I’ve been sucking cocks and eating pussy for over 60 years, probably have given thousands of blowjobs, been careful and lucky, never had an STD.

I started sucking mens cocks about 33.years ago at first I would suck one a month or so as time went by it was more than that that after a couple of years I would to a park and try and suck two three a day. Point is I was always carefull and have never got a std. I do love to suck and must have sucked at least 600 men I guess I was lucky to avoid std s

It is a question of honesty and trust. Luckily for me I have got at least one regular guy who I know is safe (a second one may become regular once this pandemic is over). Both are married and not looking for complications so we all look after each other and play safe. Perhaps one day, the three of us will play together too!
