I typically drink cuervo tequilla and what I noticed was that the day after I drink I always feel extremely horny. Don't know why that is because I dont feel that way when drinking other alcohols.

Anyway if you have a favorite drink please post a repy and what it does to you.

When I drink tequila, the next day I feel extremely hungover.

I like micro-brewed beers, fine wines and cognac.

my favorite buzz is a nice red wine (preferably Italian) and some good herb. But it makes me extremely horny (for the refrigerator) and I end up drooling on myself.

As Oscar Wilde said: "Alcohol taken in sufficient quantity produces all the effects of drunkenness.

P.S. my favorite drink is a shot of cognac with a half shot of Frangelico added and followed by a Bass ale. Fortunately for me it is too expensive (in bars anyway) to indulge in a lot.

I often find wine gives me a awful hangover and/or a headache the next day. I can get pretty drunk on wine! I also get a killer headache if I have some spirit mixers besides the wine!

Brandy has a lovely warming effect but does also get me tipsy pretty quickly. Best not to go overboard on it!

Vodka gives a nice buzz but I need bigger quantities of this to feel tipsy. Sometimes I wake with a headache or nausea as well.

Gin just makes me feel depressed and emotional. I don't really like the taste either.

I am not a beer drinker so can't really comment on that.

Overall, I find I cope better drinking rum and a mixer. It is warming, and I can get myself on a nice buzz on this. Plus I very rarely wake up with a headache after drinking it too.

Ohh, and dont even get me started on cocktails!! ;)

As for making me horny. I find if I am slighty tipsy I am horny anyway. But if I go beyond the 'buzz' and get drunk I may say I am horny. But as for doing the actual deed my body just doesn't want to know!

I love wine. I don't really like many alcohols much at all but I make for it by adoring wine. I also quite like a slimline gin and tonic and a few sips of vietmenese beer is pleasing to taste. But the drink I like to drink alot of is wine but it has to be good. It can have a range of effects on me depending on the type of wine and the amount I drink. I find white refreshing and I can get drunk off it (I'm a light weight despite my love for cas I'm petite) Red wine is the best it makes me hungry and horny.

Hubby is a recovering alcoholic, sober for 16 years. I rarely drink alcohol in support of his success.

However, I do brew my own herbal wines as winter holiday gifts. The one I'm about to start is a medicinal wine: Chamomile and Apple. It'll take about three months to ferment.

On the rare occasions that I do drink, it's champagne. I never drink more than 1 or 2 glasses because I hate the way alcohol makes me feel. I don't like feeling like I'm not in coontrol. As amatter of fact, the last time i drank, Iordered a Mimosa and only drank 1/3 of it because I started feeling like i didn't have full control of myself.

I'm not much of a drinker but one observation I've had over the years is that drinking (especially beer) really makes me pee alot. I mean it seems I've no sooner fiished downing one and it's begging to escape. I go to relieve myself and in the process take out my "johnson" which gets me to thinking about all the other johnsons out there in the world and the next thing I know I'm gettring horney...but as usual there's no one around to play with...depresed and frustrated I go have another beer which starts the whole dang process over again...I guess to sum it up...drinking reminds me of oral sex.

  That is funny!!!...........On a educational tip alcohol makes you wee because it is a diuretic. This means it encourages the body to lose more water than it takes on by halting the production of the body's anti-diuretic hormone, resulting in you needing to go to the toilet excessively and so speeding up the loss of fluid from your body, leading to dehydration. Thats why after a heavy night of drinking people should either drink water in between drinks or just before bedtime....Or you could find yourself waking up in the morning with a mouth drier than Ghandi's flip flop!! :tong:

kinda in smokey's arena here, [ except for the pot ] tho at one time i was a "master drinker" too [ or thot i was....8 years wasted, but that's another story]

tekillya? forget it. it's such a terrible few days after. i feel like i got beaten by a bunch of pissed off gorillas.

basically gave up the drinking to excess, still enjoy a good whiskey or cognac now and then, wines are ok too. love the micro brews out here and in places like hawaii and alaska. cant find bass ale much , and when i do it's extremely expensive.

[san antonio used to have a really great micro brewery that sold a terrific ale and several porters and stouts. was named salado creek. they went under simply ' cause you can't sell good beer to cheap ass drunks that live in economically depressed places. sorry ,no discrimination here, is just a fact of business.]

one thing i learned the hard way; never, ever, mix a beer drunk with cheap brandy.. i think that's one of the reasons i finally came to my senses. alcohol poisoning is no fun, trust me.

as for any certain types of drinks having an effect on my libido? uuuuuhhhhnnnn, no, not as long as it's in moderation. a bit too much of anythng, and well, i sleep really good and disappoint my potential playmates. :(

I am always reminded of that old Monty Python line...

..."I got a piece of brain lodged in me head and it hurts!"

Best description of a hangover ever. LOL

I like beer, cider, gin, vodka, whiskey, and sometimes tequilla.

Whiskey (especially bourbon) can have a stimulant effect on me and make me horny.

Red and white wine makes me have to pee a lot; but saki doesn't. All 3 make me tired.

For years, I used to drink like it was going out of style...

Then one day I woke up with a hangover from the pits of hell, sat up in bed facing my dresser that has a mirror and asked myself..."What the fuck are you doing? You got no money in your pocket and way to many headaches...What the fuck are you doing???"

Ever since then, I have no desire to go out and drink. It took me a month full of Sundays to get rid of the shakes and the vicious mood swings and now I have no need to drink myself broke...

I do have a social drink but always make sure that I designate myself as the designated driver...

Besides, nobody loves a drunken Indian... :paw: :paw:

I hate hard liquid, although I did sip some rum once and brandy another time.

Budwieser and Canon Beer... its weird... those two have NO EFFECT on me at all!!! I don't even drink beer often cause I hate it. But once in awhile I might have 1 or 2 bottles if beer is the only choice there is and I don't wanna be left out lol

Wine!!! 1 glass is great.. but my limit is 2 glasses. :-)

I used to drink to get drunk....but discovered that it was stupid. I usually get a couple of drinks when we eat out or have a couple at home before bed but otherwise...I don't drink much at all!

My favorite is Peach schnaaps and orange juice, my 2nd is Amaretto and coke. I will drink Flounder's special beer which is Berghoff lager...that stuff is good out of a keg. I like wines but don't get to drink it much. But wine will really make me drunk fast!

All drinks used to make me horny but now they just make me sleepy...I think that's an age thing.

Love tequilla. Definitely my drink of choice. And not in some frozen fruity margarita. If I'm drinking it as a margarita (and if I am its because I'm probably eating Mexican food) I want it classic on the rocks with salt. Most of the time I take it straight. I've put away some very low end stuff in my past but I prefer a top shelf brand. Patron when I can get it. I can drink it all night and get a good buzz but never hungover. (My dad is the same way. Good genes I guess. lol)

Love the herb too. But have learned not to mix it with alcohol. Not in excess anyway. A couple of hits mixed with alcohol and I'm fine, but a lot of both, gets me in a bad place quick. That's the closest I'll get to a hangover the next day. I'm lucky in that I've never been hungover. Even the one night I drank enough to pass out, no hangover. As far as getting horny or other effects...hell I'm always horny alcohol doesn't change that, it just makes me more dominant. Herb makes me too lazy to initiate, but I will still go with the flow.

Other drinks I like but take a lot of to get me drunk:
Vodka and cranberry (ah, grey goose)
Coconut rum and coke
Applekorn
Bailey's on ice
Beer (a belgian white preferably)
Wine (super dry and white, or a good merlot)

I know a few people who call tequila "Panty remover". :) Personally, I find it makes me very energetic and fairly violent (I don't actually fight, I just wish someone would start a fight so I could enjoy it). And then I spend the next day feeling like someone has very carefully and precisely hit every square inch of my body with a sledgehammer, poured acid in my belly, and filled by head with fire ants.

Vodka's nice because it rarely results in a significant hangover.

Wine gives me a terrible hangover. In addition to the normal symptoms, I get massively depressed. In the case of red wine, I apparently am very sensitive to the tannins or whatever they're called... I've often got the headache and depression after a half glass or less. So I don't drink wine. :)

Beer is lovely stuff. It keeps me pretty energetic and happy. :) The downside is that it's got enough sugars and such to really screw up my metabolism, so it tends to give me really wicked hangovers if I have too much. :(

Badly. Rapid onset depression is not really conducive to a party mood, heh. So I suppose I'll be teetotal for the rest of my life...

How does certain alcohol affect you?

Ethanol makes me drunk & loud & generally stupider.
Methanol sends me blind or kills me if I have enough of it.

THE MANY WINES

God has given us a dark wine so potent that,
drinking it, we leave the two worlds.

God has put into the form of hashish a power
to deliver the taster from self-consciousness.

God has made sleep so
that it erases every thought.

God made Majnun love Layla so much that
just her dog would cause confusion in him.

There are thousands of wines
that can take over our minds.

Don't think all ecstasies
are the same!

Jesus was lost in his love for God.
His donkey was drunk with barley.

Drink from the presence of saints,
not from those other jars.

Every object, every being,
is a jar full of delight.

Be a connoisseur,
and taste with caution.

Any wine will get you high.
Judge like a king an choose the purest,

the ones unadulterated with fear,
or some urgency about "what's needed."

Drink the wine that moves you
as a camel moves when it's been untied
and is just ambling about.

Rumi :)

WHY AREN'T WE SCREAMING DRUNKS?

The sun once glimpsed God's true nature
and has never been the same.

Thus that radiant sphere constantly pours its energy
upon this earth as does He from behind the veil.

With a wonderful God like that
why isn't everyone a screaming drunk?

Hafiz's guess is this:

Any thought that you are better or less
than another man
quickly breaks the wine glass.

my baby likes pink panty droppers:

1 minute maid pink lemonade (from concentrate)
3 beers (we use coors light)
1 1/2 of the minute maid containers up with cheap vodka

walla!

for economy size, we call it 'porch crawlers'...which is...

a 30 pack of coors
a half gallon of 5 o' clock vodka
2 regular minute maid from concentrates
lots and lots of friends

no water is to be added with either of these drinks, just alcohol, alcohol, and some lemonade.. =) try this drink before you knock it! its good!

otherwise... for a good beer i like 'purple haze' (a raspberry wheat beer, by abita breweries) and oberon ale (native to michigan).

red wine is always good, franzia is cheap cheap. box wine woo hoo!

and herb is good with all things alcohol in our book.

I usually favor a nice dry red wine or a stout or porter if beer's on the menu. As far as liquor, either Scotch or Bourbon do me nicely. The only alcohol that makes me feel particularly crappy would be Gin.
