Hi all. Have been unable to post any pics here the last 2 days. Keep getting a notice saying I have "exceeded my quota".
Anybody else get this or know how to get around this? Thanks in advance.

If Biwolf can't post this will bring the site down. I know it was way more active before I joined and I wish it would get better not worse. Who ever owns this site either give it up or give it some attention please!

I am familiar with this... its a setting in the forum coding itself that is set by the forum manager / admin.... now there is max image size for images, total forum image capacity and account image number / size capacity.... and number of images that can be posted in a set time frame and posted overall
the trouble is you need a forum admin to check and tell you what you have exceeded, unless you want to do it the hard way and try deleting older pics to see if that fixes the issue you only need to delete up to 3..... if it lets you post, it can be account based total image size restrictions or total number of images....if it does not, you have exceeded a set number of images per time frame.......
I use xatio image optimizier, its a old program and if you can find a cracked version, you can compress images by as much as 80% while still retaining size and quality, which is good of you are dealing with a cap like 100 MB image limit in a forum.... or if you want to be a good person, then creating a second account may be your only option but I would try contacting the site admin first to see what quota you exceeded

You could post images from a URL which shouldn't take any of your limit.

Go into control panel scroll down to miscellanous / attachments then scroll back up to see the attachments status.... its a red and green bar....its a account attachment size (MBs ) limit max storage for uploaded attachments is 19 MB......
so yeah you may need to link images so upload them to a image hosting site and then link from there, that way you do not link to images that other people can remove on other sites
