Our onsite "mail boxes" both outgoing and incoming--need to empty mine---

I guess it could be a metaphor, never thought of it being applicable to both genders, tho!
Volty, I often forget to clean my private messages out, too.

I checked my mail, it was showing as having 25 mails total but a limit of 100 mails.... so I have cleaned it out, some of the mails were 5 years old, shows how much I do cleaning....
So used to a 1000 mail limit on the gaming website forum I built, a custom forum... that would full up in a few weeks because of all the fan mail I would get.....

I do well in keeping the in box taken care of but forget to check and clear out the outgoing box--it was where I was full--had messages going back several years at least--it surely was more than overdo for dumping them!! Thanks, Realist for telling me--and sorry you lost a message you had tried to send me.....
