undefinedFirst of all I would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers; they have done my family and me much needed good during this hard time. I know that many of you have heard bits of what happened to me and may have questions, so I have made a kind of blog/story entry on my yahoo 360 account for you all to read and I hope that it explains much of what happened. Its a little long, but it had to be to tell what I needed to. The link to the blog is [URL=http://http://360.yahoo.com/rob_at_mindseyestudios ] I hope that you find it informative. Thank you all again. Love, Rob

Wow... That's an incredible story. You're lucky to be alive. And I know I for one would love to see the photographs when they're ready! How's your hand doing? Have you lost any use of it? Or is it too early to tell?

OMG  I cannot even imagine being in a situation like that. I'm so glad they didn't hurt you more seriously than they did and I certainly hoped that the two women you were with learned a valuable lesson from all this.

Stay home, heal your wounds and hug your family and kiss the stars above...for you are one lucky dude! :grouphug:

I wish you well in your recovery. I know all to well about travels to 3rd world contries for work. My Uncle has traveled thru out Africa and South America looking for oil. I have heard and read his stories sevraltime he has been in very seriious situations. Not as bad as yous, but still very serious.

Wow! That is an amazing story! I'm sure you keep hearing this, but I've got to say, it's a miracle you're still here with us! If you believe in a Higher Power, someone was most definitely looking out for you. If you don't, you're one VERY lucky man :)

We'll keep you in our prayers for a speedy recovery. As Mrs. F said, hug your family and kiss your lucky stars. :)

I'd love to see those photos when they're ready. Those will defintely bring these issues back to the public eye. I'd ask if you ever saw Nicolas Cage's movie "Lord of War" but you were living the massacres. That's how I first became aware that situations are so dire there.

Take care of yourself and keep in touch :)

the thing i can't get away from, in reading ur blog, is how ur sense of humour and light heartedness remains intact, this soon after being left for dead, surrounded by others already dead....i just can't begin to imagine. i allpaud u for sticking close to home now, as a daddy that's the best gift u could give. and it's the best gift u can give ur fans here, who have more tales of potatos and jelly and steve walker art to share with u (((big hug)))

Good God!

I am also a photographer, looking into shooting for organizations around the globe. This particularly causes me to pause and reconsider!

Thank goodness you are ok. Congratulations on trusting your instincts and hopefully nothing like this will ever happen to you again.

Take your meds, take good care of your wounds, and hope to know you are back on the path soon :)
