Hi all,

This is me coming out online.

I'm quite new to being bi so I'm a little confused still.

I'd like to chat and possibly meet any uk members of this site be they gay, bi or lesbian.

I check this board often, so feel free to send me an email or private message, I'll get back to you, I promise.

Thanks,

Huw.

Hi Huw,

Answering the call :) Don't be confused - be happy, bi's the way to go. What about this Bifest thing in May? I was thinking of going along - you'd meet lots of people there I guess.

Anyway, wish you nothing but fun & joy now you've 'come out'.

Hi BiOxi/Alex,

How are you doing?

What Bifest thing are you on about?

Does it have a website for info?

Huw.

BiFest (http://www.bifest.org/) is a one-day bi festival in London to be held in May. There's been a bit of a gap - the last one was in 1999! Expect some discussions, speakers, community 'stuff' stalls, disco, performance, and a whole heap of bi's, their friends, partners and allies.

For those of us in the UK there is also BiCon (http://www.bicon.org.uk/) and there is a bi festival of some description in Manchester most years (this year it's most likely in Sept / Oct but details "to be confirmed" - they'll be on BiPhoria! (http://www.biphoria.org.uk/)'s website in due course.

As editor of it, I feel obliged to plug BCN (http://www.bicommunitynews.co.uk/) at this point as the UK bi newsletter where you can keep up to date on all these sorts of things!

That sounds like a cool thing to go to.

I'm in london for that weekend anyway, perhaps some of us could meet up for coffee and get chatting?

Perhaps I'll see you there.

Hi Huw,

Sure - let's meet up. Be good to not go alone as it were. :)

Hi Alex,

Sure we can meet at the venue in the Larc, or somewhere close to it.

Will you be going to the party afterwards?

I should be there during the afternoon, having made other plans for the morning.

Speak soon,

Huw
