And that means what exactly? It certainly doesn't mean that bisexual men are any more accepted by society. It only means that there was an increase in the number of people who, in an anonymous survey, admitted that they might be something other than 100% straight. The survey mentions that there are now more bi people than gay and lesbian people. It doesn't mean that more straight people are now identifying as bi, for all we know it is simply a change in how the gay and lesbian crowd has defined themselves. Will this result in any change in the perception of gay, lesbian or bisexual people?

We aren't gaining anything. That is just a fantasy.

No, it doesn't mean bisexual anyone is more accepted by society.. but it tells us that more and more young people are claiming bisexuality and in time could not that mean that bisexuals will be more accepted? That is the importance of what the Torygraph says.. the young are the future of humanity and so are not the bisexual young the future of bisexual humanity? Don't b so defeatist, Dog62.. I am a lesbian woman but have long accepted that lesbian women are less common than bisexual in large part because that is my experience in Britain and to a lesser extent in Europe.... and probably deep down gay men are less common than bisexual in the western world at least.....
