View Full Version : Does the term "Hot" irritate you too?

This term for some reason always pisses me off.
Whether it be someone looking for a "hot" dude. Or, (especially) the self proclaimed "I'm a hot guy, looking to hook up with another hot guy!"
Now, I'm considered by many to be a good looking man. But even at my absolute best, I would never think to use "hot" as my description or expectation.
Am I wrong?

the word doesn't bother me as long as u don't overuse it, or the person isn't actually hot

I absolutely dislike the terms "stud" or "bud". Not sure why, they just irritate the shit out of me. Hot doesn't really bother me.

None of these words offend or disturb me. I like to refer to a guy that I may be interested in a bit..."stud" or "bud" as term of affection. I dislike a guy calling me "sweetie", dear and other terms that I seem to attach for m/f relationships. Guy relationships need their own term imo. :)

I think it is a perfectly fine term, just hate the overuse.
