Hello all my friends out there!

I just wanted to add my 2 cents into the general mix.

What makes us human? What are our desires, dreams and hopes? What makes us any different from the rest of the population? Are we defined by our desires? In the world at large that answer would be no but as bi people are we supposed to be defined by how we live our lives in a private sense? I say no...we have the same rights as anyone else...I just wish that the rest of the world saw it that way instead of making it a taboo never to be discussed.
That is why I am so grateful we have this forum of discourse..that we can talk among ourselves in a relaxed atmosphere.
I am thankful for each and every voice ...lift them up and we can make a difference! :) :flag3:

Yeah Ambi I have been accused of seing the world thru rose colored glasses a time er two...that is something I gots no appologies for but in a way am very grateful...I know you get it darlin cause you would not have added long live the child within...

The world is a very complex place with so many different personalities and causes...too much for my brain to wrap around...I just figure if you can make a difference in one person and that is starting here (pointing at self) then and only then is there a hope of some sort of change in the world...call me Pollyanna but never call me Grinch...LOL Even in the midst of some very grim circumstances you can find joy...especially under those circumstances really because it is only with the promise of light at the end of the tunnel can we get through some really tough times...

Ok flying back to Peter Pan and Never Never Land (great reference btw Ambi!)

I saw the world through rose coloured glasses or to be more precise I saw it how it should of been and couldn't understand why it wasn't really like that then Irealised how awful the world was and it crushed me so I went back to the rose coloured glasses way of seeing things because its less painful.

I don't understand. There is no any kind of hope for us if we not fighting for it.
But i don't mean colective. I would rather put all on individual level, that every bi person on this world make his own progress and development and then we come to that certain point when we can really see the whole world trough rose coloured glasses.

It's really easy to stand aside and only complain about how cruel this world is.
That's something really really stupid.

Every individual person who is brave enough have to take all things in his own hands and yes, at the end the world will be rose coloured.

But that is only for brave ones, for those who have guts to face with their own surrounding without any fear what will happend next.

Well I usedto stand up for what I believe in every second. Every time I heard someone mention a sexist, racist or homophobic comment I'd be on their case but people were really cruel to me and it kind of spoilled who I was.
