I noticed we have several threads on sexual dreams. This has led me to this question..
How may ladies out there have experienced a REAL full on orgasm in their sleep?
I had this discussion with a few friends of my mine recently, and we discovered we had all at some time experienced dreams where we had climaxed. We also noticed that we seem to wake from the intensity of them too!
I also discovered that I have been having them from my teens. But as I did not know what a real orgasm felt like until 18 months ago I did not understand what it was!! :eek2: ....shocking I know!!
Right, so how many of you ladies regularly experience a REAL orgasm in your sleep and how often? I have one every few weeks.
Also, do you wake from it and remember your dream? I often find it wakes me but I do not remember the dream....

Ok, I guess I'll answer this one. Yes I do. It happens about once a month. I usually wake up after the dream is over and I tend to remember everything that happens. The one thing that I've always wondered is whether or not I'm actually going through the motions in my sleep. When I was in college I roomed with my sister and she told me I had a tendency to make noises in my sleep so apparently so. :tong: But now that I'm married I've been a little hesistant to ask my husband since I don't want to get into a discuss as to what I'm dreaming about since most of the time it doesn't involve him or a man at all. But yeah, I do have wet dreams. Honestly I thought that this was something that only happend to me. I'm glad to see that it's not. Thanks for bringing up the subject.

I used to. And i remembered the dreams. And they were all over the place in terms of gender and what i was doing. I used to have sexual dreams fairly often.... I thinking one per week, and occasionly they went all the way. which made me happy. But then if they still left me wanting i usually had partner to turn to.
Alas, i am sexually damaged by a stroke i had, and rarely even have sexual dreams anymore :(

one of the biggest tragedies in life for me is the fact that my real-life orgasms are never as intense as my dream orgasms...sometimes i wonder if i just dreampt that i had climaxed, but they r sooo powerful i am sure they really, physiologically happened. usually, the dream is really hot, and brought on by a recent crush or seeing someone who got my juices flowing that day. now that i think about it, a lot of them r dreams were i am w/ straight women, dunno why that is. i guess just the taboo aspect, forbidden fruit thing going on. but yeah...god, those dream orgasms r out of this world ***sigh***

I am the same way...my real life is never as intense as my dreams are. I don't ususally remember much about the dream but I do know that things were pretty hot and heavy  . Mine are always about men and usually someone I have talked to or seen that I am attracted too. I know that I have woke up before with my hands all over myself, so I have wondered how much into the playing part I was....
I honestly cannont even tell you how often I am having a dream like that....

I asked this question partly because at first I thought I was the only one. Then my friends having them confirmed I wasn't. I wanted to see just how many other ladies out there are having them too.
Wet dreams are seen as something only men have. Yet, it seems from peoples responses that it is happens to us ladies too, and on a regular basis. But still it is rare to find any discussions or articles about it!!
Thanks everyone for responding!
When did you all find your dreams started? Mine were in my teens, yet I did not know what they were then!
Do you find your dreams increase when the amount of sex (or orgasms through masturbation) you have decreases? I find that is what happens to me....

I feel your pain (or pleasure! lol) Until I discovered the joys of self pleasure (about 18 months ago) I had never experienced a full blown orgasm through sex alone! The nearest I came to a mindblowing climax was in my dreams! It wasn't until I understood what a real orgasm felt like that I was able to undertand what I was experiencing in my dreams!! Now I am finding my dream climax is even stronger than ever.....
The other thing I have noticed is that I am never actually wet when I have a dream climax! Yet I feel fully aroused mentally and am able to climax......

Here you go, girls, from goaskalice website:
"In 1953, Alfred Kinsey, Ph.D., the famous sexuality researcher, found that nearly 40 percent of the 5,628 women he interviewed experienced at least one nocturnal orgasm (orgasms during sleep), or "wet dream," by the time they were forty-five years old. A smaller study published in the Journal of Sex Research in 1986 found that 85 percent of the women who had experienced nocturnal orgasms had done so by the age of twenty-one... some even before they turned thirteen. In addition, women who have orgasms during sleep usually have them several times a year. Dr. Kinsey and his colleagues defined female nocturnal orgasm as sexual arousal during sleep that awakens one to perceive the experience of orgasm. Girls and women who don't have orgasms in their sleep, or who don't know whether or not they've had them, are perfectly normal. It may be easier for men to identify their wet dreams because of the "ejaculatory evidence." Vaginal secretions could be a sign of sexual arousal without orgasm.
Similar studies find that a much higher percentage of boys and men experience wet dreams. This, combined with a greater focus on male sexuality by science and the public in general, are probably two big reasons why we don't hear very much about women's nighttime orgasms."
BTW, I'm 46 and I've never had one, but lots of sexual dreams with both genders.

I've only had five complete orgasmic dreams. Two of them were with women. I've had MANY more *almost there* dreams where I wake up before orgasming. Those are SO frustrating.
No, you are SO not the only one

Well, yes I have had those dreams too...although not very often. Usually I wake up right before the climax point, desperately trying to fall back asleep...but no. So at least I take the opportunity to continue and 'think' through where the dream was headed.
Probably started in the late teens for me (from memory) and about women. It mixes up now between M and F's.

I have had sex dreams :-) some would seem soooo real I'll actuallly have an orgasm or at least be VERY close to one lol
All my sex dreams seems to be of another women tho.... and for some reason I'll wake up and it seems like shes "there" but I can't see her anymore. :-( then the feeling goes away after a few hours.
Sometimes I can wake up from a non sex dream and the feeling the person in my dream is in my house but course no ones there and the alarm is still on. But the feeling lurks about for awhile that someones "around".
The women always looks the same tho.... long dark hair and white skin. I can never see her face clearly :-(

I started having these dreams in my early twenties and they usually occur when there's decreased "action" in my sex life. I guess that pinned up energy has to go somewhere. ;)
