I'm sure it depends on the person, and it's probably different between men and women, and lighter hair takes longer to show up. I'm a brunette, and I have noticeable hair in about a week. It wouldn't be as long as you have now I'm sure, but I don't think it would look unusual.

I have very light-colored hair, and keep shaved entirely below the waste year-round. I feel noticeable stubble on my pubic mound the day after shaving, but it's not visible at all. I just love the smoothness so much that I feel pretty much compelled to shave there every other day, if not EVERY day! I'd guess that if I went a week without shaving my legs, it would probably be a little over 1/8" in that time, but still only visible when in bright light. It would probably take a month or two to reach the length it was before I started shaving.

You don't know how much I'd love to be told to keep myself free of body hair! But that's not in the cards... :(
