Like others have mentioned, I shave in the shower using shower gel and a 4 or 5 blade razor. (Currently using 5-blades from 800razors.com -- very cost efficient and long-lasting)

I seldom shave the rest but keep it well groomed as I do get in-grown hairs as a result of shaving anything other than my sac. During the times that I have shaved it all for a few weeks the in-grown hairs were fewer over time. The inching however was quite uncomfortable after only a couple of days of not shaving.... bottom line is I have to shave every day.

I can see shaving the shaft without much difficulty, since that is (or can become) relatively smooth. Doing so on the scrotum would seem to be difficult (with all the lose skin and all). I would think the hot water of the shower (while softening the hair) would cause them to hang even lower and make shaving them all the more diffucult.

In my case, I see no need to break out the mower when no one ever goes in the yard...

I shave my balls and other areas without problem, I do not shave all the time only when it exceeds what is considered trimmed, I use a electric beard trimmer first, then shaving cream and a mach 3 razor. That said I do not like shaving someone else as in i find it difficult but will do it for my wife.

Since writing the above I have decided to shave several times over the course of 2015. It seems that my skin is now getting used to shaving and I have no itching, ingrown hairs or red bumps. I still used conditioner to ensure the pubic hairs are soft and as a shaving cream. I also make sure my razor is very sharp and used one that has at least 3 blades. This insures you only need to pass the razor once or twice over the area to shave it and believe this goes a long way to avoid irritation.

With respect to the No-No I have spoken with others who have tried them and they were not impressed with the results. It may be possible that the newer version of the No-No would work better as these people tried them 3 to 4 years ago when the No-No was still relatively new. I too would like to hear about others who have had experience using them.

I first started shaving when I prepped for my vasectomy about 28 years ago.
