Well---I'd rather not have to try to find another site to go to--but on one of the blogs--someone put up a link to this site: http://www.bisexualplayground.com/bpmain.php

MY IMPRESSIONS OF THAT SITE:

I went and checked it out---got a free but minimum membership and went to check out their chat room--it has some neat aspects to it---it is much more up to date and "modern" than our chat is---and they do have a live moderator---so they won't have any of the drama that we sometimes get on here---same goes for their forum boards too--no Pole Smoker types on there for sure!!

It did suck though----they don't like anything that they might consider "advertising" and I was told by the moderator that my talking about this site and its issues, was skirting very close to violating their rules about discussing other websites---so man---I was only on there a few minutes and had already fucked up. That did kind of piss me off, since some of the others on there were asking me what the issues are with this site---I was just replying to them and having what I thought was a "normal" discussion about the situation.

So--even though having a moderator can solve some issues--it seems to bring up others and to be honest---having one---makes me hold back from taking part in the conversation since you do never know what you might say is a transgression.

They do have one huge and extensive "TERMS OF SERVICE" policy that lists all the things that you can and cannot do at that site, plus those things that can get you booted from the site--I do think that they do not have any problem with people starting up multiple profiles on there, which is good.

When it comes to their technical aspects of the chat---it is far superior to this one in the way that you can add photos and such--no waiting for loading and having the pics time out most of the time.

When it comes to the people there they seem pretty cool and nice----you can say at first blush that it is an even more "bisexual" site than is this one---more than half of those chatting were ladies--and their guys are members too and take part--but with the guys that were there----they were all married and their wives are active members too--but for those guys who like to do stuff with other guys---you may not have much luck there because it seems that most of them, on the lines as to who they seek to do things with--it is "other couples or biwomen"----A few of the guys expressly said "NOT LOOKING TO DO ANYTHING WITH OTHER MEN UNLESS YOU ARE PART OF A COUPLE." They also said that they were "Straight"

It might be that that site really is more of a "swinger's site" than a bisexual site---but with the bisexual part being---that the guys want to see their wives and them--do stuff with only other women.

I guess the thing I suggest is---go get yourself a limited, free membership at that site and go hang for awhile so you can see what you think about it for yourself and if you think it might be a viable alternative to this site.

Good luck. I hope that others will check out and report back on other "bisexual sites." I am also curious to see what others have to say about that site.

I went and looked at it one time several months ago, but was not impressed enough to pay money to join. It must be a bad time for sites such as this one that in some part have bisexuality as a theme and part of them--the site that many of us have migrated to--MySecretChoice.com--does not come up when you click on it---with an error page that does not look good.

I have belonged to another site---called Dick.net for about five or six years--it was pretty good but sad to say--its owner---committed suicide back in February. A spokesperson from his family came on and told the members of that site---with the probability that they are not going to keep it going because do not have the technical skills necessary to do so as the owner had nor do they have the time or interest in doing so----he apparently used some very high level coding for the site according to some on there who know about such things---which would make it hard for anyone to gain access to the control of the site--he apparently used a form of coding that is equivalent to what the CIA or NSA might use for encryption and other purposes so the control of the site is pretty well locked out---SO---that site is running on fumes and is probably going out of business at any time.

We all know that this one is on auto pilot---sort of like the recent incidents of airliners apparently running on autopilot before they run out of fuel or hit a mountain---that this site is up and running at all---is kind of a mystery to me since it seems that it has for all effective purposes, just been walked away from.

I do wish that even if Drew is done with this place--he sells or turns it over to someone else who wants to see it continue and to get better.

Kind of a bummer that so many sites just seem to fail and go away---and that right now----sites of this sort seem to be falling victim to such a situation.

I guess I am back here now---for as long as possible.

I was on that site you mentioned. The guy who owns it is severely mentally ill, and has lots of other issues. Someone claimed he passed away; but who knows if that's even true? Other people said how they searched for obituaries for the owner of that site extensively and nothing came up, and the person who said the owner had died was not a longterm member and had only registered that day.

He was not THAT good at coding. :rolleyes: LOL If he was that good at coding/programming he would not be running an amateur porn site, and nearly homeless. A lot of people on that site who were on it got angry at how they would pay him for a membership and the site was not updated...sound familiar?

His relatives, and online friends don't care about his moneypit of an amateur porn site.

On most sex sites including this one most people have moved onto other sites.
