I agree and assume he's one of the original agitators, who morphs into different identities over and over........like a bad commercial! He's been on my ignore list for some time and I avoid any thread he starts. I have no idea why he's been allowed to continue his vulgar, tasteless, commentary this long!

I've become less apt to reply to any new member, now, until I read some of their posts and responses.

I'm no prude, but I'd feel much better if everyone would attempt to be more polite and considerate for the wording of their posts. If you meet one who likes to get down and dirty, take it to a private arena.

Being considerate of those who appreciate less vulgar language, might encourage more interesting members to join. It's obvious to me that some of the more influential and respected members, have moved on because of the present crassness.

I'm thankful for those who contribute thoughtful and inspiring posts that spark intelligent/interesting replies.

The trouble, Realist, is that he's found a way to do what he does *without* breaking any site rules. Drew doesn't want members being rude or offensive to one another...but vulgar, tasteless, pointless, etc., have a long history of being tolerated here.

I once posted to something probing why *all* the vulgar topic threads (I think this was well before Richard Smoker joined us), and was virtually lectured by members here, defending the practice...many of our members have been long closeted and need a place to explore and speak their truths, etc. Again, I see why such threads need to be allowed to *exist*...but to dominate?? Where does one draw the line?
