Scotland becomes the seventeenth country to have legal same sex marriage!
The Scottish government, which will hold a referendum on independence from Britain in September, said passing the same-sex marriage bill was an important step for equal rights and paved the way for same-sex wedding ceremonies later this year.
The Netherlands was the first in 2001. Canada in 2005 and last year England and Wales, Brazil (http://uk.reuters.com/places/brazil), Uruguay, New Zealand and France (http://uk.reuters.com/places/france?lc=int_mb_1001) joined the list.
Will we hear from our wee Scottish reporter? (wee Fran dark eyes) :love87::bounce:
