Warm water with dash of salt is best - Under no circumstances mix in any wine, liquor, etc. Will get you drunk asap & can harm liver, etc.

I agree with snowtop, a dash of salt is a good thing. Not more as to much salt can burn you. You just don't want to drain your body of electrolytes so the idea is to balance with your body chemistry. When I do it to get ready for playtime I do it just before I take a shower. I skip the salt and use a bulb and rinse quick. The water is not there long enough to be a problem. Then a second bulb just to be sure. Five minutes and I am good for a couple hours of play. Sometimes I do it just because it is fun. When I do it for fun I will use salt as I intend for it to be there longer and it will find its way in deeper. 2 or 3 bulbs or a full douche bag will start some anal convulsions that feel great on my prostate. Never Fleet or store products as they turn it to mud and playtime is ruined. A box of sea salt is cheep and works better.

Warm enemas can feel great, even give you an erection, as well as help clean you out! I use the old fashioned enema bag, or enema can, with attached hose and a large, "butt filling" lubricated nozzle, usually with at least 2 quarts of warm enema solution. Sometimes I use soapy water, other times I use plain water, water with salt, or water mixed with other things, such as coffee, glycerine, or oil, depending upon effects desired, and I have used them for over 50 years, starting as a Teen! I believe it has something to do with the mucus formed in the rectum, you don't want to wash too much out.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has done this and it really does clean you out. I prefer doing a enema before receiving anal sex even if I'm just going to fuck myself with my 9 inch dildo.
