I've hired the movie 2 days ago it's ok, but too much talking.
The girl is a great actrice.
Matt Damons caracter was a little weird.

True Grid ? Never heard of it . There a couple of similar sounding movies called True Grit ! The original with John Wayne was far better than the newer one . Probably the only thing that ruined the second one for me was having seen the first . Too bad Hollywood has so few original ideas now that the best they can do remake older movies badly .

Thinking True Grit was meant also. I saw the original w/ The Duke ages ago. Saw previews of the remake.
No real interest in seeing the remake. Been disappointed before with modern remakes.

I felt the same way when trailers for remake were running; thought, " no way Jeff Bridges can fill those shoes. " I was wrong! His performance was superb! At times I felt it actually exceeded the original; have some friends that agree.
