My old PC laptop finally gave up its last recently--and I transitioned over to a new MAC mini.
The password I used to sign on was contained in the memory of that computer. I had never really known what it was. I did try to change it, sending some messages via various means to the operators of the site, telling them that the email that was connected to this account, long ago died and I hadn't used at least since I got the previous computer, back in '08 or '09.
I told them that I no longer used that email address and provided the one I now use---asking them to provide me a way to change my password---but I never got any sort of response---so I had to set up a new profile and new name.
I just wanted to let whoever gives a whit that I am still here--with this "new name" even though this name---actually is one of the first I ever used when I first starting to go online back in the mid-90s.
Like the previous name----this one comes from the title of an old Jimmy Buffett song. This one actually does fit me in so many ways---because in numerous ways---I have pretty much been "a cultural infidel" since I was a kid and remain so to this day.
See ya around the site.
